This is a complete, I mean complete carb with spark plug for ~$15.00. I replaced my old one, and it worked right out of the box, no high/low or idle adjustments really needed. I was blown away.If you are even on the fence, just buy this one. If you have any kind of mechanical aptitude, you will be able to install this in no time. There was only 1 gasket out of the 2 I needed to use, it was obvious which one to use, just look at the gasket. Also, it came with a spark plug, air filter, and fuel filter. I didn't use the fuel filter.Excellent value.

Worked immediately, my trimmer started like nothing ever happened, didn’t have to adjust the high/low screws too much. Very smooth install as well, fit perfectly. Packaged well. Very good build quality. Very nice that the kit includes a whole tune up kit as well. Didn’t end up having to use the spark plug, but always handy to have an extra (It is the correct spark plug for a Stihl FS45).

Was quoted $195 by local shop to fix non-running weed whacker. A new one is $225! Took a chance and bought this kit. Took about 10min to install on mine and it started on the 2nd pull!! Runs smooth and idles just right. Best $15 I've spent in a long time!

This carb is cheaper than a Stihl OE carb rebuild kit. It went right on my Stihl FS 55 with no problems. It ran immediately with no issues in starting. I did some minor low and high speed adjustments to fine tune it but that was easily accomplished. Unbelievable with all the extras it comes with.... Extra air filters, fuel line & filter, primer bulbs, and a spark plug?! Although it's only been on a short time, so far so good!

My Stihl HS45 could not be started. New spark plug made no difference even though the old one was a little fouled. As soon as I put in this new carburetor, the HS45 took right off. The first few minutes the engine ran a little rough, but after warming up was almost perfect. I had to make some adjustments for high speed to ensure the trimmer ran smoothly at full throttle. The true test will be how long my hedge trimmer continues to work this well.

Installed on old FS46 that had not been used in 15 years. Installation was simple. Started on first attempt. Everything fit as advertised. Job took no more than 30 minutes tops including cleaning old surfaces upon disassembly.

I was fighting with my Stihl weedeater for weeks, trying to keep it running.finally decided to try this replacement kit.Installed in 20 minutes (I have some knowledge of motors) and it worked...very pleased.I cannot imagine what the dealer would have charged for parts and service.
