This is a water pump pressure control switch for perfect pressure control. The pump pressure can be adjusted by this switch and you can set the adaptive pressure according to your work needs. Pressure setting steps:
1 is to increase or decrease the starting pressure.
2 is to increase or decrease the stop pressure.
Internal structure:
The red line is the node origin line；The green line is the water pump line.
Realize Function:
Automatically perform the start and stop of the water pump, that is, when the pressure in the system pipeline reaches the upper limit of the set pressure, the power supply is automatically cut off and the pump stops working. When the pressure in the pipeline system drops to the lower limit of the set pressure, the power is automatically turned on and the pump starts. The work is repeated in this way and the automatic control process is completed without manual work.

I had to repair my pressure tank so I replaced all components and this pressure switch every thing is new from the well pump to the tank even all pipes so it should last a long long time.

Checked the ON & "OFF" set points for this switch.Not even close, I had to adjust the On & off set points with my air compressor source. Adjustment took about 5 minutes. Would have been a real pain if it hadn't been done prior to installation at the well.Set point was adjusted to ON = 40 psi & OFF = 60 psi.Much easier to adjust on the work bench than in the well house .This is the normal way I calibrate all my replacement pressure switches - for years....

Purchased this switch to replace one that I had purchased last year, which by the way failed immediately. This switch was not the same as the previous unit and it solved the problem. We now have a trouble free water supply for the irregiation system.

The pressure switch was to come preset at 40-60 psi. The one I received was factory set at 25-35 psi. I tried 2 different pressure switches to validate the issue. Will stick with a brand name one next time.

This pressure switch works great but you will need to spend some time with your needle nosed pliers getting the pressure settings right. Don't throw away the box - that's where the instructions are! So yes, great purchase, but be ready for the factory settings to be off.
