This review is for the GallopMax Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Set. The product includes a variety of general and specialty tools for disconnecting fuel and AC lines, a carrying case, and a set of operating instructions.I often do my own vehicle maintenance, and I've found that it's extremely handy to have a set of fuel line disconnect tools. For years, I've been getting by with a set of plastic disconnect tools that I bought at a local auto parts store, but I've found that they're often more trouble than they're worth. I finally decided to get a decent set of fuel line disconnect tools, but I didn't want to break the bank. This kit was perfect for my needs.The kit probably has more tools than I'll ever use (the tools I use most often are the scissor-style disconnect and the aluminum clip disconnects), but the variety in the kit is so wide that I'm probably covered for nearly any make and model vehicle I'm working on in the future.I tested the kit by using it to disconnect the fuel filter on a 2005 Ford F-150. I found that these tools were easier to use and performed better than my old plastic clips. Additionally, the pliers made it a relatively simple task to press the tools into line so the filter could be removed. No more trying to press the tool in with my fingers!My only minors complaints about this kits are: (1) the pliers are stored in the top half of the carrying case, but they aren't held very securely. Every time I close the case, the pliers fall out. The only way to close the case fully is to hold the pliers in place with your fingers until the lid is nearly closed, then remove your fingers as you shut the case. (2) Also, the hinge on the carrying case is a simple molded plastic hinge. These types of hinges can tend to wear out and split over time. I would have preferred a real hinge with a metal rod insert.Bottom line: good kit, great price, OK carrying case.

I like that this one kit has disconnect tools for a lot of vehicles. It usually takes a few tries for me to find the right one to use, but so far this kit has gotten the job done on the 3 vehicles I've tried it on.

It worked fine for the first time using it however after i was done using it to change a fuel filter i noticed the plyers wont fit back into the box because they got bent from being used the rest of the kit works fine but the bendable plyers

Unfortunately it did not work for my current diy fix. Needed to remove a fuel filter and none of the tools (plastic or aluminum) would work for my application. Thought about cutting the tool down but decided to hold off. The company should include a tool with a narrower profile.Thought about returning it but it might come in handy in the future?

For sure does help for the disconnections of fuel lines. Actually turned out to be more helpful than I was expecting it to be.
