Highly recommend!!! The Hancy stencils and chalk pounce are hands-down the BEST system for marking quilts. The lightweight design of these stencils prevents them from bending, warping, and the inside design edges do not turn up or crinkle with repeated uses. I did have a bit of trouble at first with the chalk becoming too light to see by the end of a row (the hammering motion of the machine bounces it out), but then someone suggested spraying a thin layer of aerosol hairspray onto the fabric before laying the stencil down and it was life-changing! It not only keeps the chalk on the fabric while quilting, but it also helps to keep the stencil firmly in place while chalking so you don't get double lines or a distorted pattern. (I use the cheap Aussie brand hairspray in the purple cans and it is not sticky when dry and always washes out completely after quilting.) I will never use any other quilt marking method ever again!
