Item is awesome. Not a problem with the price, quality. Shipping and packing is really bad. Dings and crack on wood and paint. Could use an extra layer for item to arrive without issues. I dislike items that are defective or not as expected. Without my use for it being worn. Open box or used.

I was very pleased with the bass. It came with very minimal set up required! The pickups are amazing! this is one of the best budget priced bases I have yet to buy! I highly recommend to new, and experienced players!

Bought for my daughters birthday. Strings need replaced and the bridge needs replace. Just go to local music store and buy one from them and save your money buy this crappy guitar.

I bought this bass for a specific purpose - as a basically disposable bass that I can leave at a rehearsal space where I am not comfortable leaving one of my nicer guitars. It was shipped completely un-set up. Even the truss rod had no tension whatsoever on it. So you will have to do a full set up right out of the box, or have one done by a tech. It has a bone nut, but the slots were barely cut. So again, you'll have to have a tech file the nut down correctly. The rosewood fretboard had nothing applied to it - it was bone dry. So you'll need to lemon oil that immediately. The strings it ships with are total crap. you'll need to put a decent set on there (can you see the $$$ adding up already?)The bass itself is incredibly light due to being made of Paulonia (aka empress wood, aka phoenix wood). Mine only weighs 5 lbs, 11 ounces. because of this, there is some noticeable neck dive. I intended to put a higher mass bridge on it, but that's when I found that whoever installed the bridge screws stripped them all - they just turn and turn without ever getting tighter. This didn't cause an immediate problem, because once the screws were out, I discovered the bridge is actually also glued down to the body. So you will be unable to replace or swap out the bridge without prying the old one off and badly damaging the finish, and potentially ruining the bass. The pickups are ok, nothing wrong with them. The tuners are not great, but they'll do. After the debacle with the bridge, I didn't even want to try removing one to see if it could be replaced. By the way, the fretboard radius is 16" and the scale of the bass is standard 34". The nut width is 1.65".I would not advise the purchase of this bass. Even at the low price, it's not worth the money, and you'll need to put money and work into it just to get it playable. You'd be much better off spending a little bit more on a Harley Benton or a used Yamaha TRBX174. I have not decided if I am going to keep it or not. I will sleep on it, but might be sending it back."You get what you pay for" has never been more true!

I bought this because I wanted to Frankenstein it. So I did. New neck and new pick guard. Original neck and pick guard were fine but I wanted to jazz it up a bit. Plays and feels great either way. Worth the price I paid. It did come with a nick in the paint. But hey, under $100.

My 13 year old loves it she’s a beginner, so not too heavy or too light sounds pretty good, we’re happy with this purchase.

I was hopeful, but the bass went back. Fret ends cut my hands, and body is so light that neck dive is a huge issue. The neck was bowed and truss rod adjustments did little. Sound was fine.
