So, I let this sit out and expand for about a week, then tried spending the night on it, on the floor. Not good. I might just be too big for it, since I'm a bit over 6 feet and about 250 pounds. But that said, it's nowhere near firm enough for a guy my size on the floor. However, when I became too uncomfortable, I just dragged it into my guest room, which has a queen bed, threw it on top of the mattress, and gave that a try. That was really nice. It felt better than the mattress alone. So it seems like the foam in this pad is pretty high quality, because it feels nicer than the supposed 3 layers of foam over the spring coils on my guest bed mattress. Either way, this is a good product, but maybe not great for the purpose that they advertise. As a floor mattress, boo....don't do that. As a mattress topper, this thing is absolutely deluxe.

An excellent floor or futon mattress. Arrived in a vacuum sealed bag but expanded to it's full thickness in a day or so. This mattress is pretty heavy, but rolls or folds up to a more compact size making it perfect for a guest room or cabin. Good value for a quality product.
