I recently tried this glue gun on a few quick projects. It heated up quickly and was easy to use to apply the hot glue. I did notice that if I added a thin line of glue, it dried too quickly so I applied a thicker amount and it worked great! I like the two stands (one built-in metal prop and the separate stand or base). The on / off switch is a really nice feature. It has two settings: low and high, which is also helpful. This is a great full-size hot glue gun that gets the job done!

Well, I've used it for more practical projects and it's absolutely perfect. So, if you need something more constant, go for a plug in, but for most arts and crafts projects, this will probably be just fine. The instruction sheet says it's good for 2 minutes but I think I used it with success for much longer.Finger safeguardI always look for these finger safeguards because when I accidentally hit the nozzle and burnt my fingers, Because have bad habit of touching my crafts works while it’s still hot. After receiving this felt happy thought will wear and protect my fingers while working. I was not comfortable but this is definitely helpful for new crafters😊Leak proofI had very bad experience with leaking of my previous glue guns, The tip heats up and it works for a while, even drips out the glue while in the stand, With this can say this drip only when you over heat them, Once this is fully heated to melting point of glue stick, switch off ready to work and this glue does not leaks. Don’t forget to reheat this again, So that by pulling hard on trigger for glue to come when it’s warm, You can break the trigger and this will start leaking.Glue stickThe glue sticks the seller sent was of great quality, would be happy to buy again, very strong and dries clear, without leaving glue strands. Tried to break apart my wood blocks, which was super strong bonding.This quality I get with gorilla glue only, which is bit costly. This hot glue gun heats quickly, is convenient and easy to use.At first glace, it seems kind of cheaply-made. It is definitely not a high-end glue gun, but it comes at a decent price. It has a solid base to allow it stand upright. The trigger is long and easy to reach. It has a sufficient heft to it to allow it to stand sturdily, but it's not too heavy as to make it unwieldy. In the box is the glue gun, 12 short glue sticks, three finger protectors (much appreciated!) and a business card with instructions. The switch goes up for low, down for high, middle for off. An indicator light on the back lets you know at a glance what temp you have it set to.I turned the gun on high and waited two minutes before testing. It was ready to use after two minutes. The glue flowed easily - however it would not stop flowing. The photo of the instruction card shows the amount of glue that leaked in less than a minute. I thought having an upright gun would help with that problem, but it did not. It actually leaked more than I'm used to while on high heat. This is not a deal breaker for me, plus the leaking stopped immediately on the low setting. The glue was still plenty pliable enough to use on low. The nozzle is a little thicker than I'd like, but it is still easily maneuverable in tight spots. It is best suited to larger crafts as opposed to very small projects that would need more precise placement of glue.Overall, this was a much better purchase than the one I got for about the same price at a national craft store chain last year. That one lasted about 2 minutes and was nothing but a pain to use. This Monvict glue gun is far superior to what I had, and I am pleased with my purchase.Decided to change to 5 stars because it is so much nicer than what I had, and I'm really enjoying it.

After using this gun for a few months the trigger started to stick while inserting the glue sticks. I still love how hot it gets & stays hot but the hard to load glue sticks is a little bit of an issue. I plug it in for a five minute warm up, unplugged it and it stayed hot for over ten minutes. The copper fine tip made gluing so easy and with the rubber guard on the nose saved my fingers a few times 😳With the two setting options I was able to really crank up the heat and turn it down when needed.It last longer unplugged than my cordless gun. There was no need to keep setting it on the charger it simply stayed hot and yes it has its own base “so cool”The company is great on customer service unfortunately the glue gun itself after serval usages the trigger stuck. So sad but the sent a replacement 👍🏻

I loved being able to use this glue gun on a project I needed to work on. Love the on/off switch functionality & how well it works. The heat level was perfect & it came with the proper size glue sticks. The build quality was great & it was easy to use! I gave it a 5-star review because it was exactly what I needed for my project!

I had a good glue gun. It died. Now I have this. I love this gluegun with all my being. The nozzle is super precise and stays clean because of that silicon bit, it stands upright, it heats up in no time, and it comes with silicon finger protectors and the glue sticks that came with are absolutely awesome, better than the gorilla ones. I shall be buying those from now on. And that glue solidifies HARD and not yellow. I've got only good things to say about the whole package.

Does what it says. Doesn't drip, can use it after heated up, unplugged. I do alot of hot gluing. And I'm having a blast with it. 😊
