Super easy to assemble. But would have been quicker without the wife watching and "helping". I assembled in place in the existing wood bed frame and it turned out perfect. The original box spring was about 8" think, and this 4" box spring was just the right height without spending the extra on a complete new bed.Helpful hint, ditch the provided cheap thin socket tool and use a real ratcheting socket and the job will go much quicker. I don't think the provided socket wrench would last the job, nor provide enough torque for tight fasteners.

Was able to put the frame together in about a half hour, and it feels fairly sturdy, however the cover that came with it had a hole in it. Not sure how that got past quality control considering the box that it came in was not damaged. The frame itself seems nice though.
