I have used these choppers for years and when my last one broke I could not find another one anywhere. Then I happened upon this one at Amazon and was thrilled. These have a large bottom so you can cut up lots of vegetables and get them chopped up in tiny pieces in no time. They are loud when they are chopping and you can hurt your hand while chopping, but for me it is easier to get the tiny pieces that I need to cook my dishes than using a knife. I basically cut the veggies in small chunks then use this to make them even smaller. I love this chopper. Hopefully it lasts for a long time!

In the first glance, I think the build of this product is very solid, but it is not. The plastic feels cheap, a little bit disappointed

I bought one of the other choppers that you press to chop, but had to cut things into super small chunks or it wouldn't press down and cut. With this one I just put a big chunk on a cutting board and it chops away. My husband is even impressed! He uses it all the time.

I was disappointed in this contraption. Doesn't hold much at all... far less than I anticipated and I wasn't anticipating much. I filled not even half a Solo cup with the ingredients (not chopped). Still had to split that amount into two. The punch down was not easy to use. It kept sticking to the ingredients. I had a small stalk of celery (about 8 inches) which I split into four rows and chopped up myself on the cutting board into six cuts). I added half a cut up onion (slightly less) that I sliced and cut up. Still the chopper did not work easily. Everything stuck to the blades which I do not believe were very sharp. The punch down was stiff and did not go up and down smoothly. That being said, this thing is in too many pieces. The bottom came off once (I guess from trying to punch down harder than I should have). Everything spilled out and I had to put the bottom back on, take the top off and put the dislodged stuff back in. And starting over, I still had the same problem. Larger chunks were actually stuck on the high blade surfaces and not cutting at all since the only surface that would cut was the very end of the blades. Just a mess. Do not recommend. I've been cooking for a good 60 + years and have used many of these hand choppers throughout my life and this was the worst. My blades had to be really dull. It wasn't even easy to clean as I had to scrape all the stuff that got stuck on the upper sides of the blades off with a basting brush. Wasted food. I should have just chopped this myself, it would have been a whole lot faster and cleaner. I'm looking for something else without these design flaws.

years ago we had a chopper similar to this that lasted several years when it finally gave up on us we replaced it then we soon replaced that one and the next one and so on until we found this one. It is a no frills tool that does exactly what it is supposed to do . It chops food ! works for onions peppers nuts olives you name it , it just works and it has already outlasted several others.the only downside is it should be hand washed, but it comes apart and goes back together very easily

It worked pretty well when i first got it. Chopped up most vegetables nicely and quickly. Quite fast too. About three or four presses it was well-chopped up, all under five seconds. It needed just about double amount of presses to get the ingredients finely minced. It was very impressive. It did not work so well on things like parsley and green onions. Wished it was bigger to fit more, but because of how fast it was able to chop i decided to deal with the constant of swapping ingredients into the chopper; it only fit about 1/2 cup to work well. Only had it for a few months before it failed. It stopped rotating, only chopping straight down. Then, the plunger broke. Seems it was only held in place by four small plastic tabs that broke off. So, while i had it the chopper was great, but poor engineering and cheap materials led to its demise in such a short time period. This is why i am giving it two stars and disappointed with the product.

Werkt prima.Soms is het wel handig om zachte groente, zoals b.v. Prei even in te vriezen, dan werkt ‘t hakken/snijden beter.

El picador es de buena calidad, me llegó en perfectas condiciones. Las cuchillas cortan y pican muy bien las verduras, y todo lo pequeño que quiera, además sin apenas esfuerzo. Se desmonta, limpia y vuelve a montar muy fácilmente, sin la más mÃnima complicación. Lo único que veo un poco mal, es que la base del vaso picador se resbala, no lleva una goma para que no se resbale.
