I need to break down my rating system to clarify my thoughts on this product. The seller gets five stars for service, the unicycle gets one star for quality. Average: 2 1/2 to 3 stars. If you buy this item, plan on some missing pieces. I sent mine back twice, first time because it was missing a chain tension-er, and second time because it was missing both a chain tension-er and a chain. On the third try it was still missing a chain tension-er but I gave in and kept it anyway. I work in a metal-working shop, so I ended up just making a pair of the missing items. I was actually better off because mine were much better quality than the cheap, stamped ones they send!The unicycle is ride able; you'll have to keep tightening bolts here and there unless you gum the whole works up with loc-tite. The cycle is definitely low quality, but it is also the cheapest 5' unicycle I have found. They do not package it well, usually all the pieces are rattling around in a large box, so if they happened to put them in wrong, the seat material may have scratches or holes, and pieces may be sticking out of the box. On a positive note, the seller promptly refunded and reshipped the cycle every time I sent it back; now if they'd only have a checking procedure to make sure all the parts are present.Summary: If you're concerned about quality, don't even consider this; if you're on a budget and want a cheap one, this will work for a while.

Item arrived with a critical part missing. I contacted the seller and have not heard back after 10 days. Eventually took it to a bike shop and purchased the missing part. When purchasing a giraffe unicycle purchase one with a cotterless crank so internal parts don't slip, this unicycle has a cottered crank. A cottered crank has the potential to slip while leaning forward causing injury. Customer service was seriously lacking from seller.

It's great for the price. Front handle on the bottom of the seat is a little small. I'm an adult woman with average size hands and I barely fit my 4 fingers into the space under the handle at the front of the seat... but it works though.Also, the chain is really hard to line up and it (the sprocket) has skipped a couple times. As I'm peddling or rocking, the chain and peddles move together, but the wheel/tire doesn't for a quick second (probably up to half a peddle rotation worth). The first time it happened I wasn't prepared and had to emergency dismount because I lost balance. I have rode several giraffes before (usually Torkers) and have never had this kind of issue.It has skipped a couple times, but other than that it's been great a great bike and it looks really good too!Pros:Looks greatTall! (I've had several giraffes and this one is about eye level which I love; usually they seem shorter)Works/DurableCons:hard to assemble chainfront handle is smallsometimes sprocket skips and wheel doesn't move when you peddle

Love love love this giraffe!!!!! Both my 140lb son and my 55lb daughter ride it with ease. It was simple to build and provides hours of fun.

The item was missing the seat locking bolt assembly. Since my granddaughters birthday is close, I managed to find a bolt that can lock the seat for now. I hope someone at Amazon can have the part sent to me from the manufacturer so I can switch it to the correct part.

Ordered for Christmas Present, My son opened it on Christmas morning and it was missing pieces. The return period has already expired. So off to a Bike repair shop for parts it is.
