The lead breaks every time we place pencil to paper. Re-sharpen, try again, same result. Have not gotten any of these to work. They sure look cute, though!

Have previously used this as "souvenirs" when sending my nieces' and nephews' Flat Stanley back to Virginia after he has visited Arizona. The pencils are something the kids can actually use in class.
