This shelf was purchased to complete a TV stand project I put together. I found some cubes that were the right size I'd been looking for (Fits LP's) but I needed a good shelf board to span the end cubes and open area where I'd put the video equipment (VCR!). The cubes had a rustic brown color and I happen to find this floating shelf that in the listing picture seemed to be the right color I was looking for. After much scrutiny and deliberation I made the purchase (shelf + cubes). The cubes were a rustic brown color and this shelf was supposed to be as well. My items came and the day I started this little project I was excited to see the results. I assembled the 6 cubes (that was a snap) and set them in place. Then I unboxed the floating shelf and placed it on the cubes. I stood back and....WOW! What a match. Couldn't have been any more perfect. The fit was perfect as was the color. It's like these items were meant to be bought and used together. This is a floating shelf, meant to be mounted on a wall but I didn't need that hardware. I just put a small screw into the back to keep the hardware with the shelf. It came with all the necessary hardware you'd need to use it, as sold. It even came with a small leveling device. Nice touch. But, I am delighted the shelf matches the cubes so well in color and is a solid part of the setup. It is rated for 75 lbs. My TV does not weigh that much. I cut some small squares of rubber matting to set under the shelf so nothing slides. The manufacturer packaged the product very well. No damage in transit. So, whether you use this shelf as intended or for a custom project, it should work great. I can't comment on the ease or results of mounting the shelf on a wall as I did not use it for that purpose. I'm sure it would turn out well though. I bought this shelf on Cyber Monday Prime day so I got a good deal. However, even at the normal price, it's worth it. The seller shipped the product so that it arrived on time. I highly recommend this product and seller.

The Fun Memories Floating Shelves (24W x 12D) are okay but not without issues. They look nice once installed and add a stylish touch to the space, but the quality isn't the best. I had to use shims (about 40 mil) to get them level from front to back, which was a bit frustrating. The shelves themselves feel decent, but the leveling issue made installation more tedious than expected.That said, once properly installed, they do the job and hold up well. If you're okay with a little extra effort during installation, they’re a decent choice for the price.

Really like these. Built good, sturdy. Like that there are rods that go into shelf. The size could be a little bigger but smaller than 24". Very stable. Don't have to worry about them falling off wall like our old ones did. Reasonably priced. Would recommend

The shelf came very well packaged and with everything needed for an easy install. Even came with a small level. I'm not super handy and I had it all mounted in less than 30 minutes with some hand tools and cordless drill.

I bought two sets of these. I wanted to make a corner shelf. Which means I had to be very precise with the line up of each shelf. Well let me tell you, this was way more work than it was worth. Every single bracket except one seemed to be manufactured wrong because the shelf sloped down without any weight on it. See the side by side of the sloped one vs the leveled one. Ended up having to bend the bracket, which was not easy, to make it work the way we wanted. Also the wall anchors they provided are completely useless, you either need to find the stud or buy your own wall anchors. Because we found one stud and the other side of the bracket would be the wall anchor they provided, and the screw would just keep spinning and not tightening. So by the third shelf install we decided to use our own, cause clearly it was the wall anchors and not user error. Especially since we were screwing it in by hand and not by drill just like instructions told us to do. After bending all the brackets to ensure they were level and lined up all the shelves accurately, it turned out great. But it was so much tweaking and using my own anchors to get it done, which should not be the case. They clearly have some quality control issues with this product. However, after placing legos on the shelves, now the shelves are unaligned again. Because just the simple addition of a few pound legos, made these shelves start to sag. So all that work of leveling it out was pointless. Very very unsturdy product and I’m actually quite concerned by the fact that they are over my tv. I would’ve just returned them but it’s so much work to get them to work that I am not going thru this again by risking that I get another bad batch of unsturdy and unlevel shelves.

These Fun Memories floating shelves were perfect for my display needs. The anchoring system supports the heavy weights as described, and these shelves don't 'wobble' once installed.

The shelves do what they are meant for but the do sag a bit but not a crazy amount. They are a good size. What really pissed me off was how cheap the anchors are. The instructions say to use a 1/4 drill bit but when screwing in the anchors they would snap or strip unless I really bore out the hole well. But all in all installation was easy outside of the anchors snapping. These shelves are good for nic nacs and collectibles, but I don't know if I would trust anything heavy like books on them.
