Plugged it in and turned the switch and seemed to work fine! Haven’t tested it in the studio but I did test it with a PS5 and tv and worked fine! Also this thing is built like a tank just a heads up! I will update if anything changes but Furman is the best for a reason.

This may not be an official power conditioner, but it's the best thing that's happened to my little recording setup in a long time. For years I'd been dealing with what I thought were unsolvable noise issues. My problems I thought were caused by my computer and audio interface not liking each other and I had resigned myself to just live with it (although it made me very unhappy and frustrated). I had several noise issues. A constant almost inaudible high pitched noise that could be masked by sound, but was always present. Then, there was this horrible electrical chatter type noise that would come and go, but was most noticeable when opening my DAW or any other audio program and when I would move my mouse around. I was convinced that it was related to the drivers of my audio interface and because I love my discontinued Line 6 UX8 so much I just "lived" with it, since the drivers will never be updated again.On a whim, I started googling audio noises and hums and came across a good article that recommended several products that might help. After reading some reviews, I decided to give this product a shot and I couldn't believe my ears when I turned on my computer and audio equipment- IT WAS LIKE MAGIC! Not only did it solve all my issues, but also now whenever I turn my mic preamps or my guitar pedals or amps on or off, I don't get a popping sound through my speakers. I couldn't be happier!!!!! I never took the importance of using high-quality power strips seriously until now. I hope this review is helpful to others.

The long cable, sleek black look, and 6 Outlets make it perfect for mobile applications. These units won't remove electrical noise but they will protect your equipment from Dangerous Power surges that can damage it. I use these two in conjunction with the small Furman power conditioner. Gives me good peace of mind that my expensive equipment is getting good clean power!

I have six of these in my Studio, my next Furman will be a rack mount . The two for deals are alway best .
