It have great friction reduction to get a quality MA. I can't tell if it have ball bearings which I hope they do. They have decent weight to strength ratio... I climb them into trees. I use this to rig anything if I don't have the power to do so, either ground or in the tree. Great price compared to the comp. It is made in the USA; who would tell if there was an infection like Corona virus instead of covering up cough cough China.

This thing works great I use it all the time for mechanical advantage in my work. Can take the pulling power of many people with no problem.

Well engineered and built. I've been using a pair of these and a static rope to remove a dozen or so large, dead trees. Less expensive than similar models with ball bearing; the bushing runs just as smooth. About to purchase a single pulley from the same mfg. Great product!

Oddly I purchased this because it was a good price. As a rescue tech and a scout leader I used the, to show block and tackle/mechanical advantage with boy scouts. They easily hold up to 300 lbs working load that I tested with it and no jams.I have not used it for anything heavier. The system was a 3:1 advantage vertical system. Also used it to run a dummy across a gravity brake line, worked great for that as well.

I really like these pulleys. They are strong a lightweight. I use two to rig up my longline at 200ft+ with a 5:1 ratio. I use an embedded brake, and the 2" pulleys are barely large enough to clear my Petzl Grigri. The action is smooth with a 9mm static rope. The becket is large and can accomodate almost all attachment mechanisms. The pulleys won't mind a prussik though. I had a 6mm prussik pull all the way through on 9mm rope. Use something else for progress capture. My only complaint is that the rating on them is a bit confusing. It seems that the pulleys, bushing and pin are rated to 32kN, but the becket is only rated to 18kN, which limits its use on longlines 250ft max (with 2m sag).

I bought two of these for a 4:1 system to haul a roll-in dock up a hill. I have a boat winch attached to a telephone pole on the top of the hill. My 100 lb wife can crank it with ease. I used a 12mm dynamic line I have left over from climbing, a static line would be better. Dock weighs about 400 lbs. I quit climbing big walls, but I expect these would work well for hauling the pig(s) as well. Much beefier than the rock exotica.

product was purchased to create a pulley system to reduce force needed to raise and lower the mast on my sailboat. The plan worked out very well.

Bought 2 as part of a 5:1 pulley system. Looks and feels of good quality. Worked perfectly with the pulley system hoisting a large dock walkway into position. I imagine it would work nicely for slackline setups.

Wish they made this same pulley at half the size too! Even if it had a lower strength rating.

Received these double pullies today. They are large. Bigger than I thought they would be. Look very well made. I'm impressed and very happy with this purchase. Thank you.
