I bought this to weigh guitars using a closet guitar hanger so the "tare feature" allows me to zero the scale with the hook on it. The lighted display is easy to read either head-on or up to 45 degrees off-center. I use it frequently and think it is a good value. It came with a large (2-inch) "S-Hook" and also a 2-inch carabiner so you can hook onto just about anything. I am giving this 5 stars for price and quality..

Initially looking at this and the plastics, i didn't think it would be so strong. but, since the hooks at the top and bottom are part of a solid plate of steal it is indeed strong. Settings were easy to use and switch from lbs to kg. Display is easy to read. Good value for the price.

After traveling abroad with my wife and having her suitcase be overweight both times, I decided it would be best to weigh it before we got to the airport and had to shuffle items around to make it work (jeans are one of the heavier items). I feel it’s easy to use and understand, seems like a good heavy duty scale, and appears to be pretty accurate.Truth be told I have not used it to weigh luggage yet, however I had a huge prime rib gifted to me and I needed to weigh it to know how long to cook it. Well the kitchen scale couldn’t handle that weight, so I made a makeshift way to hold it and hang it from the hook, it worked great!I also like that I can take it along in a trip to weigh the luggage on the way back too. I like the unique look as well, and nice that it comes with the hook and carabiner.

It functions well and is quite accurate. I use it to weigh my luggage when flying and haven't seen a difference in the weigh I get and the weight at the airport. It's small but very strong and effective.

I have several scales for various uses but when it comes to weighing something that can easily be placed on a scale, this is very handy to have. Anything can be thrown in a bag and weighed with this. From groceries to fish to meats to household items. I compared the results against other scales and it was fairly accurate.

When turned on and changed to lbs as you hoist the deer up it turns off. Takes several tries to get it to stay on while weighing your animal.
