The G5 Outdoors Deadmeat 100% Steel Expandable Standard Broadhead is a testament to precision engineering and innovation in the realm of broadheads. This cutting-edge design marries reliability with performance, catering to the needs of hunters seeking a broadhead that delivers on accuracy, lethality, and durability. One of the standout features of the Deadmeat is its construction entirely from steel, eliminating any concerns about structural integrity during high-impact scenarios. The robust build ensures the broadhead can withstand the rigors of hunting and consistently deliver results. The expandable design of the Deadmeat is a game-changer. With a 1.5-inch cutting diameter upon deployment, it maximizes the potential for devastating wound channels. The two mechanical blades deploy smoothly, creating a massive entry wound that promotes quicker and more humane kills. This design significantly enhances the effectiveness of the broadhead, especially when compared to traditional fixed-blade models. The deployment system is a marvel of simplicity and effectiveness. The blades are locked in place during flight, preventing premature deployment and ensuring accuracy. Upon impact, the blades expand instantly, transferring the kinetic energy into the target and promoting swift and ethical kills. The Deadmeat broadhead's accuracy is exceptional, providing tight groups and consistent arrow flight. This reliability is crucial for bowhunters who demand precision when taking shots at various distances. The versatility of the Deadmeat is another key strength. Whether you're pursuing big game or smaller targets, the broadhead's design makes it effective across a range of hunting scenarios. Its adaptability ensures that hunters can confidently rely on the Deadmeat for various game species. The ease of use and compatibility with standard arrow shafts add to the broadhead's appeal. I single lunged a big buck with this broad head and he went 30 yards. Spraying right away and I got to watch him go down. I shot a small doe with a hypodermic last year single lung and she ran almost 250 yards. Same bow same arrows.

They fly like field points. Complete pass throughs, big entry holes , big exit holes and great blood trails.

I was never a big fan of expandables, but my Matthews v-3 27 was hard to tune with fixed broadheads ..I did alot of research, as I dont want to wound this beautiful animal.. these proved to be the answer, and they always deploy!! used thunderheads, switched to G5 fixed blades, now the dead meats.. fantastic!. If your afraid to use mechanicals, I wouldn't worry about these

Very satisfied with with overall purchase and product, only thing I would recommend is the description of product. There is an original deadmeat and the new version is the deadmeat V2.I actually thought I was getting the original until package showed up and it was the new V2 but that is fine.

My maint problem with the Havoc broadheads were that the blades would constantly giggle and get loose. They were a paint to put back on the metal claw especially while walking through the woods. The Deadmeat now have a locking stay (I think it is a hard polymer and not a nitrile/latex) that eliminate this. The only reason that this is not a 5 start is because when to took the ferrule apart to clean it out (double lunged a buck and went 6 inches into the ground) it was on so tight that it stripped the little grip thing that is on the bottom.
