I already have the credit card-sized WhiBal card that I always carry around in my wallet, but sometimes that's a bit too small a target. That's when this thing comes in. At 7.5"x10", you've got a sizable target even from far away with a wide angle lens. The color accuracy of all WhiBal cards is fantastic and as far as I'm concerned, they're the GOLD STANDARD for white balance targets.If you read some comments about WhiBal cards in general, you'll discover that they have changed over time. While this latest generation certainly isn't as "robust" as some older iterations, it's more than durable enough for any sensible use. I would highly encourage photographers to pick up one of these cards as well as one of the credit card sized ones that they can keep int heir wallet. It's just a quality product that will do wonders for your white balance.

Other than the X-Rite color checker, the WhiteBal cards are the only ones I trust for truly accurate white balancing photography and video. I've bought some of the cheap white balance cards on Amazon, but was disappointed to find they were not actually neutral. This card in particular is useful for video or applications where the card might be further from the camera since its large size makes it easy to frame. If you are serious about getting color right in your photos, you need a real, neutral white balance card. Good product.

Great grey white balance card. Much better than the low priced rolled up ones. This is solid plastic and the color looks more even. Works like a charm with my Panasonic GH5 for videos. The grey card is about 3/4th of the size of a letter sheet of paper. Pretty big and easy to zoom in on.

The original Whibal was the finest gray card money could buy. It was solid phenolic material. You could sand it to get a fresh surface. This new card uses a veneer, similar to plywood construction. The top layer appears to be about .5mm thick. I do not recommend sanding this gray card. Whibal was a self distributed, direct sales operation, but they have obviously sold out to a large distributor, and ramped up marketing efforts. But they changed the heart of the original product, made it cheap to produce, and lower quality. This card has a little shine to it, which I don't like.The color of the card is its strongest selling point. Its dead neutral. It works well, just keep the glare in check.

I have found this card to be very accurate and it has saved me a lot of time in post processing. I highly recommend it. I have tried two other grey cards with mixed results. They still kept me guessing in post processing.The card is very durable, washable, plastic with a very low sheen. It should provide for years of use. I doubt the average user would ever need to replace it. The target in the center provides for some contrast so auto focus can do its job.

Since we got this card, I have noticed a drastic decrease in the amount of color correcting that has to be done in post-production. Fantastic!
