I haven't tried it up in the tree but strapped it down low to test it out, from what I can tell it's stable and strong enough to hold my weight when I climb up the tree, I am pleased with it and would recommend it to others

At first, I was unsure how secure it would feel since climbing even a small distance up a tree can be nerve-wracking. However, once I attached it using the included ratchet straps, I was pleasantly surprised by how stable it felt. The platform is lightweight, so I didn’t have to struggle carrying it from one tree to another, but it still supports a significant amount of weight, ok with it

Actually I got This tree saddle platform for cutting the palm trees‘ leafs not for is hurting.The lightweight design makes it easy to transport and set up attached to the trees’ trunk and the ratchet straps ensure a secure fit l So the worker is able to step on it stably to trim the palm leaves. .The non-slip surface provides excellent stability, and the 500LBS weight capacity is impressive and super durable .The 16"x12" platform offers plenty of room to move around, and it's also perfect for long hunting trips.

This platform is lighter weight than I expected (which is good) and provides a quite substantial foot platform. It is nice that the platform and the upright can be easily separated and put back together, as it provides more options for how to strap on pack or fit inside. Coating is well applied and durable on the one I got and it has good quality locking nuts to secure the strap holders. Good value in an effective saddle hunting platform. One thing to note is that some platforms have adjustable angles, which can be helpful if tree is at an angle, but this one does not.

I was getting ready to type out a long review for the GADFISH Tree Saddle Platform, then I saw a review from "mukjp2" posted on January 17, 2024, that said almost exactly what I planned on writing. Please dig through the reviews and seek his out for very good information and a video where he demonstrates setting up the platform. I will add a few things to what he wrote.* The platform is very light and roomy. They claim it will hold 500 pounds. Maybe it will but I'd limit it to 200-250 pounds because while it doesn't feel super flimsy, it doesn't feel solid enough to hold some of you bigger guys, either.* The claws on top of the upright are now welded rather than screwed on like the platform mukjp2 received. That is an improvement but they still aren't quite right.* I wouldn't use this for a mobile setup. Instead, I think it is best suited for situations where you can hang it and leave for some or all of the season. I plan on hanging it on a family member's property so there's always one spot ready to go.* The 2 bolts on the upright that are intended to be used with the ratchet strap aren't in the proper place. I'm going to drill a new hole between them, add a versa button (most likely homemade with a grade 8 bolt) and replace the ratchet strap with something better.* Speaking of the ratchet strap, it is twice as long as it needs to be. That might not seem like an issue, but when you're hanging in a tree 15 or 20 feet up, you don't want to be messing with several extra feet of webbing.If you're on a budget and looking for very low price platform, this is probably your best bet. I'll give it 3 stars because it works. Just don't expect it to be the be all, end all.

I watched a short instructional video to ensure I did it correctly, and the process was straightforward enough. The platform itself attaches firmly to the trunk, and once it’s ratcheted down, there’s not a lot of wiggling. Being up there gave me the confidence to use both hands for pruning without constantly worrying about losing my balance. The surface has a non-slip texture, which really helps when you’re adjusting your position or shifting to reach different branches.

This tree saddle platform is very sturdy and can be easily secured to a tree. It allows for height adjustment and has good weight-bearing capacity. When I stand on it, it feels very stable, and the surface has a non-slip treatment. Although it is a bit heavy, but still portable. The quality seems quite good to me. The only downside is that I can’t move upwards while standing on it, otherwise it would be perfect.
