This 10x magnification lighted loupe features a 21mm triplet lens and contains six bright white LED lights to illuminate the field of view & stones like never before and its natural white light helps to look at inclusions, a perfect light for viewing diamonds and other gemstones.
Another advantages is its achromatic & aplanatic optical glass magnifier for better viewing result,, and indeed has a very fine quality. Its triplet lens system corrects spherical and chromatic aberrations to eliminates color degradation and puts every part of the field of view in sharp focus.
Batteries are accessed by a screw latch that can be easily unscrewed with the included key or with a small pointed object like a paper clip. It comes with a Synthetic leather storage case, 3 button batteries and a key for the screw latch.

Better than my high price eye loupe that I have used for years. I bought a couple of these for at home and some for at work.I love the lights. The UV is great for reviewing conformal coating on PCBAs.This is made from heavy duty materials and is the ideal size.Clean and clear images.The batteries run out faster than you would think and are a little annoying to change, but it is a reasonable cost.I cannot go back to not having the ring light.Best thing I have ever bought.

Great glass lens. Clear heavy duty and well made. Solid aluminium body and SS lens cover. Switch isn't hard to use, and cover doesn't interfere with it. Batteries fully charged when I received it. Rugged snapping leather case. You'll need the light even at 10X magnification unless you're in full daylight. If you're on the fence just buy one. Great value. I've used it a half dozen times this week already. You'll find all kinds of uses for it. This is a portable lens. Note the size. If you're inspecting photo negatives or artwork etc. buy something with a built-in round base seen elsewhere.Update 12/2024Buy a 20 pack of batteries on Amazon, it does eat batteries quickly.My guess is you get ~10-30 minutes? of light per set of 3. Very rough guess though.Haven't tried the cheap 20 pack batteries yet, I expect they will be consumed even fasteras they came out of the package at less than the 1.50Vdc.They should have measured about 1.59-1.63Vdc if they were new Duracells, etc.if they were quality batteries.

I have had one of these for quite a while. This loupe provides good images and the light is bright. The wiring, however is crappy, and the light on my loupe no longer works, thus my loupe's light no longer works. In short, there is a flimsy wire coming up from under the batteries with an aluminum tip that lies loose on the contact of the upper battery. This makes it difficult to change batteries and is the weak link in the design. (The wire on my 1st Loupe has long since broken off, leaving me w no light.)

I love this loupe because of the light source built in. It has a bright white light and a black light for test/seeing fluorescence in stones. The lens is very clear to look through. It also comes in a lovely protective pouch.

Work in the Technical field with small parts, bought a 10, 20 and 30X loupes, magnification works well however focal point is kind of small, but can work around it, My 10X the LED Light is very temperamental and will change in brightness randomly, tried changing batteries but I think its the LED's, very disappointed since that was the 2 main needs for this tool.,

La lupa tiene buen lente con bastante aumento y las luces son un plus, especialmente la luz UV que permite encontrar materia orgánica con mucha facilidad. Se lleva un diez.

E' una loupe triplet, con tre lenti incollate per correggere aberrazioni cromatiche e le distorsioni. Ben confezionata in una scatola. All'interno: la custodia per la loupe, la loupe e una chiave per estrarre la batteria. La batteria è presente all'interno della loupe. Perfetta! Per un costo ragionevolissimo, meno di 25 Euro. Luce Led bianca e luce UV. Ha un asola per appenderla ad un collare. Funziona molto bene, con la luce spenta o accesa. La luce Led e UV non appannano la visione attraverso la lente.

Feels like a quality bit of kit. Nicely packaged so would make a lovely gift for start. Opening it up, it feels weighty and robust. The light switch is a positive click in each position. The lens takes a decent push to get it out of its protection and it just feels like 20 quids worth; nothing light-weight or flimsy. The lens is clear and with much less fade than my old cheapy loupe I picked up at an antique fayre for a couple of quid.It has a 'leather' case too.Something not many mention, but a real bug-bear for me, the hanging loop on this IS big enough for a small split ring to hang it from; a must if you're in the field or trapesing round antiques all day.Highly recommended. Oh yeah, it magnifies stuff too.
