This thing is a real work horse. It metered in at 8500 to 9000 volts on a single line, and 5700 volts running 4 connected hot lines. It has some sophisticated circuitry, and while the price is high you get what you pay for. Very nice unit and we're happy with this purchase.

I’m a cattle rancher, so I know fences and electric fence chargers very well. In this particular case, honestly, I’ve had better. The electric charger portion is good, battery is good, but the plastic housing, especially where it’s made to go on a t-post is incredibly cheap and cracked almost immediately. They have made the plastic thinner over time to where it’s completely garbage at this point. The grounding cable is less than 3 feet long, so it will have to be mounted extremely low. For a solar charger that was meant to be mounted out in the elements, the housing is cheap garbage that will crack and break before you get any use out of it. I do not recommend this fence charger.
