Well, this design is both light and compact folded, we have a 12' ceiling and both wife and I love how easy it handles and how stable it is to work from. The finish it really nice and the ladder is tall but light to carry, better than the big box stored stocked. I give it five stars.

I researched light ladders for a very long time -- I do research mostly everything of importance. I have 2 ladders in my garage for heavy work but I needed something light for inside my home -- kitchen cupboards go to the ceiling. But I also needed something with an extension above the ladder so I could put a hand on it as I reached for what I needed. Remember when you reach be sure to keep your HIPS in side the frame of the ladder at all times. This ladder does what I need, it is light, helps me reach high places with care, can be put away in tight spots, and looks presentable if it has to be out for a while. You have Form & Function. It was wrapped reasonably well -- it was not damaged in transit. The reason I mention "reasonably well" is because some customers had damage on arrival. I think that depends on how far it had to travel. I am fairly close, maybe if it had to go a long distance I would pack it better.

Great construction, a little shaky due to the width, not wide enough for real good support but it works pretty well and is tall enough for almost anything around the house. Great price and good quality.

Classy, good looking and sturdy ladder that slides right into the space between my new alpha shelves and the wall – so convenient! My only complete might be that when it opens up it’s very wide thus takes up a lot of space and I need to move the dog bed to get up to the shelves that he sleeps under however, it seems to be well-made. Though I’ve only had it for two days, I have used it twice and it did not shake at all when I was going up and down with heavy boxes to put at the top of my shelf so I felt very safe on it.

This is my go to step ladder for everything. After purchasing an enormous 140 year old Victorian (Krasnesky Manor for Wayward Cats) with fifteen foot ceilings, we found we needed ladders for everything. Step ladders are an in-between necessity for reaching the upper cabinets in my kitchen, pantry, and butler’s pantry.Sturdy but incredibly lightweight, this ladder folds and unfolds with ease. Folded, it takes up very little space to store.Additional positive: the handle at the top makes balancing on the top step quite safe.I need one for all three floors of my house.This is one the best values I’ve ever found on Amazon.

I have a knee replacement about a year ago. Well 6ix weeks after it came very apparent, I had to return to the family business early since we couldn't hire (oh we tried). So this ladder was put against the grove crane so I could get into the crane seat to run it and take pressure off. It was funny the first months this ladder to the deck of the superstructure then a step stool to the cab. It has taken the weather and being moved around. Even my 6'6" 280 pound nephew likes my ladder. I do not need the step stool but I will keep this ladder in operation. It is better than the vertical lift on the little steps attached to the crane.

My original review is below. The update is that after just a few uses, it's bowing, and there are the signs of creasing forming along the vertical uprights. It appears like these stressed areas will simply fold at some point. Rather than guess when that date might be, I'm stopping the use of the product and buying a real ladder. I had concerns noticing this early on, and should have acted on those concerns while the return window was still open. I am on the higher side, but well within, the weight rating the description lists. I am not carrying heavy items up or down with me kr leaning out far, or doing any other exacerbating things. Just climbing, reaching overhead, for changing light bulbs in my 10ft ceiling garage for instance. Maybe if you're a lightweight individual, your confidence and experience would be higher.Original review after first use: I can't be but so disappointed as it's about the cheapest ladder of this height, but it is a little sketch. It gets too wobbly if I'm on the upper half of the steps, and I have to tinker with the footing of it to feel at all planted. If I'm careful it'll work fine, not a ton of margin for error however if I misstep or lean out wrong.

Mine came with a dent in it, but not big enough or noticeable enough to bother returning it. Expensive, but I've gotten a lot of complements on it. It folds quite flat and looks cool. It's also feels good to stand on. Not for everyone, but if a thin, sturdy gold ladder is what you're after and you're willing to pay for it, this should do the trick.

This is a cheap, lightweight product. It came wrapped in plastic. When I unwrapped it there were several dents all over, which wasn't surprising given the low quality of the materials. Both "caps" at the top of a folding leg were loose/sticking up, as though not properly assembled or that it was so poorly designed they just didn't fit. Steps were dirty, so possibly just not a new product like I ordered? Returning as quickly as it arrived.
