Installed these on two 9x7 garage doors that were letting a lot of wind, snow, etc into the garage. Totally stopped the wind around the top and sides. They work great with the new bottom seals and thresholds we installed.

I installed this on a two car garage door on a day with the temperature was in the upper 50's and the seal was still very flexible. The little white screw caps are buggers to snap closed! I will order this again for my other two single garage doors.

Every winter, even though our garage doors are insulated, our garage feels colder than outside. I'm looking everywhere I can seal out some cold drafts. During the daylight, close your garage door to see how much light is coming through. I had light almost all round the garage door so I decided to add this weather seal around the door frame to cut down on the air drafts between the garage door and the frame.This weather seal was flexible and had a silicone feel to it, which is important when it's freezing this winter so it doesn't crack. My two-car garage door was 14' x 7' 11", so just under 28' in length total. This product's total length says to be 32' 8", so I pre-cut the top and sides just a little long so I had a little room to play with. I also pre-mark the stripping every 12 inches so I had even spacing for the screws when I screwed it up.The stripping has an adhesive tape on it. I was installing on a cool morning, around 65 degrees, and the adhesive was not sticking very well on the top piece but was sticking better on the side strips that had some sun shining on the wooden garage door frame. I would recommend, installing on a warmer day or in the sun to help with the adhesive.The kit comes with 40 screws and caps to cover the screws to make for a very clean look. I honestly found the hardest part of this install was snapping on the screw cap on.

The Seal strip is made of heavy duty plastic material. It is easy to install because of the self-adhesive backing. The included screws offers additional reinforcement to the strip since the self-adhesive backing is just 3/4 inches wide. The screws will make the seal stays firmly in place. It remains to be seen on how long will this last. I give the product and its quality an initial 4 Stars.
