I weigh about half of the maximum weight rating but by all appearances and feel, the 300lbs wouldn't be a problem. It's tall, 24" to 32". What that means for a 5'9" guy is that I have to step up on the cross bar when the stool is anywhere near the highest position. The hydraulic ram has more power than I need. I pretty much have to sit on it to push it down. There is more seat cushion than I require.Assembly time is less than ten minutes. Double that time if you plan on using the wrenches that come with it (you'll need two 10mm, a 13mm and a 14mm). Some other reviewers comment that the welds are janky. There is some splatter but the penetration and fill is adequate. I don't see it coming apart unless it is badly abused. As mentioned in the description, the tabs welded to the cross bar may need to be bent when tightening the fasteners. This is not unusual and is not a reason for concern. The paint appears to be even and adequate for protection from rust. The bottom of the legs are square, uncapped tubing with rubber-like pads pressed on the bottom. It has been my experience with uncapped tubing and rubber feet that the tubing cuts through the feet in short order. The solution for this is to find some flat metal the same size (or just a tad bit larger) than the outside diameter of the tubing and place (or weld) the flat stock between the end of the tube and the foot pad.Overall it is a comfortable, solid and usable stool that should have a long service life.

This is a well-designed, comfortable stool with an adjustable height. It is well-constructed, all parts fit well, and it is easy to assemble. I like it a great deal and use it in my computer lab. It doesn’t take long to assemble (it comes in a box), and I will give you the tricks to assemble it so that all 4 feet sit perfectly flat on the floor. Follow the instructions supplied, and insert the large hex head screws, and attach the supplied nuts. The manufacturer supplies all the open-end wrenches that fit the bolts and nuts. If you want to make it a bit easier, assemble the 4 legs with the large hex head bolts and use 13 and 14 mm ratchets (I used two 3/8 inch drive ratchets). Don’t tighten any of these bolts. Attach the footrest with the small hex head bolts and nuts (I used the supplied open-end wrenches). Before you tighten the small hex head bolts, position the stool so it sits flat on the floor (no rocking), and tighten the small bolts so the stool’s 4 feet are flat on the ground. Once this is done, and the stool does not rock, then tighten the 8 bolts to the circular center piece (13 and 14 mm sockets if you have 'em). Attach the back to the seat (use the Allen wrench supplied), and now you can put the seat on the center pole (orange spot toward the seat). Put the little plastic feet on the legs, and you are done. Have a seat. It is rated for 300 pounds, so even the larger folks among us can sit on this safely. Pink is an odd color for a stool, but it doesn’t bother me. The paint job is excellent (even if it is pink).

When assembling this I found that the bass of the legs was slightly out of shape, I will guess from shipping, but it went together with a little smack of a hammer to bend the flat part flat. Love the color it stands out. It has in my opining 1 draw back and that is the back of it I wish it was about 4 inches higher. I'm a big guy I'm 6 foot 3 and when I set on it at its full height my feet dangle and I love it. You short people have no idea how lucky you are that you can do that.

This is well built and pretty comfortable. The seat is oversized and very well padded, the padding isn't overly thick but it's dense and feels good. The lower frame is very sturdy once you get it together just remember not to tighten any of the bolts till you get all of the bolts started. The gas charged piston seems like a quality unit and installation is fast and easy you just drop it in the hole and set the seat on top and the tapered fit self-tightens once you sit on it. The back rest isn't anything you'll be leaning way back on, but it provides a nice handle to carry or move the stool and it keeps it low profile. They offer this stool in other colors but only offered me the pink one for review so now I have a Pink Stool in my shop which doesn't bother me in fact it's a good theft deterrent but also opens me up to ribbing by my friends. No matter the color you chose this is a well-made, sturdy shop stool.

I am not a fan. The construction feels relatively heavy duty, but it is ugly and not precisely welded. The back support is crooked. The lower pedestal is crooked and impossible to bolt down without applying excessive force. The good side is that the chair is relatively tall. The color of the seat and the color of the frame are not 100% matching, despite that it is shown on the listing photo as such. The seat has more red tint to it. Cherry on top, the pedestal has a protruding sticker with the brand name, but it was attached off-center and upside down. Not good QC. In my opinion it aint worth the price.

I'm not keen on the pink but okay. Getting past the obvious this company puts out some beefy stools. I have mechanic seat made by them and I love it. This seat is no exception. Well built. Nice padding with.a low back rest which is hard to find the holes for. Look for really tiny holes. I had to hold the back rest in position and guess where the holes may be and go from there but I did eventually find them. All the hardware and tools are included. I used real tools for assembly it would take forever. The item was well packed with no damage and the instruction is meh but you'll figure it out. It's pretty simple. All the holes line up just insert all the bolts loose.at first then tighten them up. Word of caution don't get a impact gun and go nuts or you may crush the metal. It's not a very thick guage metal but once it's together.its tough as anything else. I appreciate the thick seat covering. Durable and tough not that cheap crap that cracks. The price seems high but especially with the height adjustment range it's a fair value for.a tough product....that's pink?
