Great way to store your skis, poles, or other gear! You get two metal slats/mounts, plus accompanying hooks that easily attach to them and can be spaced out however you want. The longer "hooks" for the skis have rubber coating on the ends, so they won't damage your gear. You also get smaller hooks for poles or other things. Mounting gear includes some heavy duty wall anchors. I attached one end to a stud for extra safety, but none of the other holes lined up with a stud, so I hope the anchors are enough. Took no more than 10 minutes to set up. Very pleased!

I had to buy pipe insulation to add to it so my XC skis wouldn’t slide out. I should have tested how the skis fit before I installed it. Would have returned it, but now that it’s up I’m stuck with it.

The instructions for this ski rack are not good. They are very generic. The only thing it really says is to make sure the top is up, but it took a minute to figure out which side is the top because it doesn’t match the instructions picture very well. But I figured it out. Then, I tried to get the hooks to attach to the wrong side, which the instructions mentioned nothing about. They also don’t mention you need a drill bit as the screws are not self tapping. Anyway, I finally figured it out. Short story long, the hollowed out side faces the wall and pre-drill your holes. Once I figured it out, I am extremely happy with this. As you can see in the picture, I am able to fit 4 pairs of skis and several sets of poles in a 16†space. The hooks are long so I think I could even fit two pairs per hook, although I don’t know how much weight it will ultimately hold. But everything is sturdy and strong so probably a lot. The hooks are moveable so you can configure it to whatever works best for you. I am very satisfied with this.

I used to put my skis up in a hanging rack but that makes them tricky to get down and then they live in the back of my car. Got this because I really want a way to quickly clean up after we ski. The skis fit nicely though I had a small issue with my kids skis fitting. I really needed to get them stuck together or they would just roll and fall down.Good size and pretty versatile
