The drain elbow connects the garbage disposal unit to the drainpipe in a kitchen sink, allowing water and food waste to flow out of the sink. Made of durable PVC plastic, the elbow can withstand high pressure and temperatures. It has a standard 1.5-inch diameter connection on one end, and a 1.25-inch connection on the other. Needed this particular part in a pinch which wasn’t available at local Lowe’s or Home Depot. Checked Amazon bam 💥 there it was got it the next early morning wow. It appeared better than the original Moen.

Keep your old screws and bracket. Bracket hole to large and slides over lip and screws has wrong treads. I paid 10.00 for what?

Purchased this Mr Scrappy 22-MSELB-1 in August 2024, and one of the product images showed a drain elbow that was 1.5" diameter at one leg and reduced 1.25" diameter at the other. It is not: both ends of the elbow are 1.50" outside diameter tubing (and 1.33" inside diameter). The diameter of the flange ring at the short end of the elbow is 1.65" outside diameter. It will serve me fine, but I had to change out other fittings to make it work.

Worked for my Kenmore disposal although the depth of the elbow half that connects to the machine was a little less than the original.
