My garbage disposal occasionally gets stuck and I paid a plumber to come fix it the first time. Saw him use this tool and it was fixed and I was out $100. So I bought this tool and now whenever it gets stuck I use this and we are good to go! Super easy to use and much cheaper than a plumber!

I ordered when my disposal jammed and it did the trick. Its a good length so it is easy to use but not too long that storing is difficult however I have taped it to the bottom of my disposal so I know where it is at all time.

I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer, so I don't have tools laying around, but I thought I'd try fixing my garbage disposal myself, and it was super easy with this tool. I assume it's no better or worse than other allen wrenches, though.

I have paid a plumber multiple times to fix my garbage disposal when it is not working. The nicest one yet came over & fixed it and I thanked him. He said since you paid for a service call I am going to show you how you can do it yourself next time. He took out this tool and showed me a small hold under the disposal that this tool fits into and you move it back and forth… so simple!!! It unclogs any items that get stuck in the mechanism. I snapped a picture of my garbage disposal and up came this Allen wrench. I taped it to my garbage disposal and this will save me a $95 plumbing bill each time my disposal hums but doesn’t grind👠of course if you don’t hear the motor at all push the reset button first. A must have tool for everyone.

I don't have an Insinkorator garbage disposal. It's an Evergrind Brand. It's 7 years old and I have hard water.My disposal locked up on me the other night while I was using it. I knew for that reason alone that it wasn't rusted.It hummed and the blades moved freely but the grinding plate wouldn't turn.So, I ordered this wrench from Amazon and kept my fingers crossed!I am so happy to say that a few turns of this wrench freed up my disposal and I didn't have to call maintenance to come in.It's securely taped inside my kitchen cabinet by the disposal!IT WORKED!!!
