Edit: I am changing my review to 5stars for the actual company. They were very understanding and went above and beyond to assist me with my issues.We will be buying a solid steel pipe/pole - the pole is the problem and will set it back upI’m still giving it 2 stars for the product for how easy it was to put together, however the pole is very flimsy and wobbles at each connecting point with the screws tightened as tight as they will go, so if you’re okay with a wobbly tethered ball game then this product is for you.

It works decently for what I originally purchased for, which was my two-year-old daughter. But I would say a young child is about the cut off for this product. If I put even 25% strength behind hitting the ball, the entire thing wobbles in between each connection. And if you tighten the screws, even just a little bit, the polls bend and no longer come apart. Also, the spikes on the bottom base are very fragile. One sides spike didn’t want to go into the ground, and I tried tapping it in with my mallet and it bent. I wasn’t really expecting much since I was just buying it for my toddler because she likes smacking the tetherball around, so I guess I got what I paid for.

Although this is a good price. The pole does not stand up to strong hitters. After 1st hour our pole was bending almost ready to break. So my husband slid a heavy duty steel pipe over at the bottom, and although its keeping it from breaking. Its still leaning over big time. We are going to keep the ball and rope and get a different pole. So wasnt a good buy after all.

Product is well made & easy to assemble. I bought it for my 65-70 lb dog. He’s about 1-2 yrs old & is a chewer. My ground is wet so I didn’t think it would hold up as well as it did but even though slightly leaning it remains in the ground. Mike loved playing with it but managed to chew the rope into allowing him to just play with the ball. Other than my dog, I think this is a well made set at a reasonable price. Now to figure out how to outsmart him!
