It’s winter in Vermont, but we know someday spring will return. So, while I can’t use this now, I can dream. I’ve been using one of these from a big box store. Unfortunately, one of the metal connectors broke off, so we’re looking for a new one. This one looks quite robust. The connectors look so perfect they almost look like plastic, but I think they are just perfectly machined metal. And, while the body is covered in rubber, it feels metallic when you handle it. They say it is made of a Zinc alloy, but it doesn’t look metallic because of the coating. The valve controls are plastic, and there is a plastic covering with nubs to help you tighten the connection to the water source. So, judging by the look and feel of this splitter, it seems really well made.

Pretty easy to use splitter. Plenty of space in between outlets and the knobs are large for easy manual turning. They turn so smoothly!! Although the female inlet is brass, the outlets are all plastic. I don't know how much of the inner body is plastic vs metal. It is completely leak proof for now. Longevity is the only remaining mystery factor.... I'll be using this splitter several times a week and if it gives in too early (say, within a year) I will come back to update the review. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this one!PS it comes with 3 extra washers which I find easy to just store around one of the knobs.

I'm setting up a sprinkler system and thought this ATAOSGR 3/4" 3 Way Tap Splitter Hose Connect would do the trick for splitting hoses in different areas of my garden. No leaks thus far. One thing I like is that its affordable and the valves are easy to open and close (perhaps too easy) so that they may not hold up. Problem for me: the male thread for the connections are plastic which seem like they could break easily, especially after time in the Texas heat, so I will see how durable the build is this growing season. Will update.

This attached easily to my yard hydrant with zero leaking. I hooked up one hose and ran it to my garden and ran another through the fence to a raised bed. It really is like having two faucets now at that location. When I hooked the hoses up to this splitter, there was no leaking around either of the attached hose ends. The levers to shut off water to the separate hoses work very well. I am anxious to see how this holds up to full sun and hot weather. But if it will get me through one growing season it will be well worth the purchase.

I was fooled by the race car colors, thinking this might be a basic retail store item. Nope, this is a heavy duty hose splitter and I'm placing it in my main garden area which has a complex watering system and moving my others around for side gardens. Made from heavy duty, zinc alloy metal with a thick rubberized coating, works with high pressure water systems. This is offered at an amazing price! Works with standard hosing and watering threading. Great item.

This is a three-way splitter for a garden hose. It lets you turn on and off each of the three outcoming hoses and comes with three additional rubber washers and some tape which looks like teflon tape used in plumbing to improve watertightness, though there is nothing in the package that explains what its for. Inside the box, they included 2 washers, but it looked like there was a washer already in it....but there isn't, so don't forget to install the washer when you take out the splitter the first time. This hose splitter has a nice feel to it. All 3 hose fittings are metal, and fairly thick. I have the feeling these are going to last a long time. The levers have a nice feel to them, but not unexpectedly, they're a little stiff until you use it a little bit. So far, I'm really happy with this hose splitter, not only in operation, but also in quality. If you want a nice hose splitter, then I can recommend this one.
