Very good gloves for tackling yard work which involves thorns. I use them all the time to deal with thorny weeds or shrubs and they protect my hands well. They are long and made out of thick material.

I bought three pairs of these gloves a few months ago for my two children and me to use while we garden. We like the gauntlet-style adjustable sleeves, which help protect our arms from scratching. Cinching them closed around my arm is excellent in preventing dirt or bugs from getting inside.I have used them to pull weeds, harvest potatoes, plant bulbs, and trim bushes. I have found them to be comfortable. I have small hands. Unfortunately, most gloves are too big for me. These fit well, and I can easily flex my fingers. They are well made with sturdy fabrics and leather protection across the palm and fingers. Thistles and thorns are not an issue!

Comfortable and well made. Good for gardening. Long sleeves are good for trimming roses and berries. Would order as a gift for friends who garden.

When we moved into our new house, it hadn’t been occupied for several years - so as you could imagine, the weeds were out of control. I bought these to help protect my hands while I yanked up 7 or 8 beds full, and they worked great. They’re elbow-length and the palms are fairly thick, so staved off most scratches or pinpricks. Only thing I haven’t been wild about thus far is that I used them for some gardening as well and when they get damp (from soaking), they STAY damp. But overall definitely comfortable and get the job done in terms of protection.

These are great! I purchased them for clearing out overgrown plants in the garden. I wanted gloves that would protect my arms from the brambles. The length almost reached my elbows, which is what I wanted. I also used them for planting and they became quite muddy. When I was done for the day, I washed them with the hose and hung them to dry in the sun. They cleaned up very nicely and are like new and ready to be used again. They were not heavy on my arms, and fit well. I ordered a size medium and they were a little bit loose, as I’d hoped. Color was as pictured. Comfortable. Good price.

I was skeptical but they work and they are flexible. The area where the leather covers is the palm and sides of the thumbs. The areas on the sides of the fingers are cloth only so the only draw back is that if you do not touch the thorns directly with the leather, you can get pricked on the sides of the fingers. But, if they were all covered in leather, there would be little flexibility, so just know this when you use them., Make sure to grab the thorns directly with the leather palms and fingertips and avoid touching with sides or backs of hands. They are comfortable and durable and I am very happy with them.
