Previous transducer hit something that broke waterproof integrity. Not first rodeo with changing a transducer. Use old wires to pull new ones, etc. Works like original.

This is the correct transducer for the Garmin Striker 4CV unit. It's just unfortunate that I had to replace such a vital part after only a year of use. Also that the price is so near the total purchase price of the entire unit. Overall it is working as intended. This is a updated design to the original transducer and is a bit more compact.

I was expecting pretty much direct replacement from stock especially since it’s cheaper but wow it really did improve the resolution quite noticeably with my basic Striker 4 on my kayak.

It's a 4 pin, in case you're wondering if it fits your fish finder like striker 4cv. It worked well as a replacement for my transducer where the connection of the cable was faulty.
