A 500 W 8-pin transducer, it has an operating frequency of 77/200 kHz; a beamwidth of 45/15 degrees; and mounts on a 0 to 70 degree transom. Transducer kit comes with installation instructions. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damaging your boat. When using with the echo fishfinders, transducer adapter cable, 010-11947-00, is required. Transducer, 010-10249-20, is preferred.

I ordered this and thought I did enough research to make sure it fit my existing unit....it doesn't. This is an 8 pin and the Garmin Striker 4 is a 4 pin. After I threaded this under my boat, I discovered it was the wrong one. I should have done more work to make sure it was correct. Fortunately, I was able to order an 8 pin to 4 pin adapter, but it was another $28. I could have almost ordered a whole new unit. Oh, well. Lesson learned.
