This thing is legit for casual fisherman, my only regret is that I didn’t go the next size larger. Transducer performs well and easily picks up targets. No grainy BS. Easy to see thermocline for Kokanee when tuned correctly. I fish lakes and rivers for salmon, trout & Kokanee. I have about 20 days on the water with this unit so far.

Pretty happy with this unit so far (have only had a chance to use it a few times, so still learning - it has a lot more features than my old Garmin unit). Not too hard to install, but I had someone with more experience do it for me. My vision isn't what it used to be, and the 9-inch display really helps and is easy to see even in bright sunlight.

This is a very good transducer, but beware it is susceptible to interference from non-brushless trolling motors. Our MK Terrova will cause interference on the plotter/fish finder when running at times. We've tried moving the grounds and power cables to the TM which gave some improvements, but there's still some interference when using the FF with the TM running.

I put this fish finder on my kayak and i love it. The images are awesome. Traditional view is great to find where they are at, down view is incredible clear, you can see trees and anything under you. Side view is also awesome and clear. Easy to use and there’s many educational videos on YouTube.

So far the sonar features are the coolest bough near end of season so still learning but I absolutely love it so far. If you are not a handy person get professionally installed as the transducer mounts directly to the boat(drilling holes for mounts) and you have to connect a few wires and it has a 9 “ screen on a Tilt not swivel bracket make sure you have room to mount it. They do not make a swivel bracket for the 95echomap no matter what amazon advertises I have an extra mount like the one in the box because it said swivel in the description. Look at some video reviews on YouTube on the models you like it helps. this one also links to my phone with the active captain app so you can pre plan trips mark waypoints and check one of the 13000 Canadian lakes in there needs an SD card so order when you buy 32GB worked for me. seriously alot of features takes a while to figure out
