These are strong and the perfect size for 1 inch webbing. Great for making leashes, holding up against my oversized, 7 months old puppy! Easy to clip and unclip with one hand.

These are very durable. I use them on my 1 medium, 1 large, and 1 xxl dogs leads. I change them out as soon as the slider nub breaks off roughly about every 6 months, give or take. The value and size are perfect for what we use them for. The functionality is great, since they are used outside when the temperature is freezing you will have to spray the working parts with wd-40 and wrap a towel around them they will freeze closed and you could end up in a pickle if you are trying to hook a 3yr old rambunctious dog up that weighs more than you.

We use these because my puppy decided to become houdini and escape his crate and destroy our basement couch pillows. This helps secure his crate door and he hasn't escaped since.

I used these on a dog leash and the black colour has rubbed off significantly in less than a week. Seems like a good hook otherwise but not worth it if you want the black hardware.
