I tried many times to put the plastic piece on that makes the hose curve. The hose kinks every time and about 1/3 of the gas flows through to the tank. I also found that you need thread tape to make the threads not leak. All of my fuel cans are newer and I thought this would be a good upgrade, but ended up using them with out anything other than the clear hose itself.

Came as described and works well. The bend provided by the plastic form makes filling small engines much easier (like mowers and generators). Would highly recommend.
