My charmglow fireplace has a hard to find thread for the thermocouple. It is an m8x0.75. I could not find one that fit. I asked at a local big box store, and they had never heard of that size being used. This product had this adapter and some others. Should work for nearly any application.It works great.

This thermocouple kit comes with several adapter nuts which allow it to be used with different brand fireplaces. It appears to be made of copper and brass and is 900 mm in length.I had to use one of the included adapters to get it to fit my fireplace but it installed without a problem. Switching function worked fine and hopefully it will last for a long time.Bottom Line: Quality made thermocouple. Comes with an assortment of adapters to allow it fit a variety of fireplaces. Works great!

I had it installed for about 3 months and it burned out. He last one lasted 10 years. Disassembling the entire fireplace is not a job to be done every 3 months.

I haven't had the "opportunity" to use this yet but it seems to a solid unit. I have put it in my camp trailer toolbox as an emergency thermocouple. You'd be surprised how many things that utilize a thermocoouple on a camp trailer. Good investment great insurance.
