Whenever possible I much prefer a ball type valve to a gate valve for shut off applications. My experience the ball valve is much more likely to operate without any problems for a very long time. But sometimes cuz of space or other considerations an old-fashioned gate valve is necessary. This one fits and works well for the type. Made in China.

This fit perfect and functions perfectly. I have zero issues with this and the price was extremely great.It was at least 3 times less everything fit perfectly operations on this is perfect, there's no issues with it at all. It's well made.There's zero leaking, everything works great, I highly recommend it.

Appears to be a decent quality Chinese gate valve. Inner gate appears well machined for a snug fit at closure. Threaded female openings to the valve body are also cleanly cut without any burrs or distortions. Valve handle action is very good with firm movement (not sloppy). Note the pressure designation on the valve body is articulated in PN units (atmospheres). Here, we have PN16 which translates to about 230psi. Also note that similar ball valves are better suited for higher pressures and typically are found to be rated for 600psi.

The gate valve is of decent build quality. The connection threads work well. It's entirely made of brass. Gate valve operates slowly, but it can fit into tight spaces. The price is reasonable.
