I bought this for overhauling my CH730. For the price, I got a complete set of gaskets for what I would otherwise have paid for a set of head gaskets. It did the job, with some caveats, but in retrospect, I would do it differently.First of all, the head gaskets themselves are different. They fit and the have the metal ring support around the cylinder but not around the rod galleries. On these engines which are already known for blowing head gaskets, that's a corner I may wish I hadn't cut down the line.There's a similar scrimping on the breather gasket. Better ones have the sealant printed on both sides. These have sealant only on the bottom. Again, for an engine prone to breather problems, this is a bad corner to cut.Though not shown in the picture, this kit actually DOES have the breather filter- but again, the quality is poor so I'm glad I bought one separately as that's the one I used.Speaking of stuff that goes unused, there's a lot of scrap in this kit. I mean, it looks confidence-inspiring at first to have so many gaskets and o-rings, but given how most of them don't get used, I'd much prefer the kit focused on bettering the quality of the parts that do get used.One of those items, incidentally, is the cover gasket (the largest one shown in the pic). I figured that would be nice to use instead of sealant - until I read the manual. Turns out, Kohler specifically recommends the sealant only. A fiber gasket is thicker and will throw off the spec for the crankshaft end play.

All the gaskets are great. However for those that don't know the pan gasket is not for the ch25s. You will have to use rtv instead that it doesn't come with. So technically this isn't a complete gasket set?

90 percent of gaskets were incorrect. Used 6 and gasket maker to finish command pro ch25 rebuild.

Case gasket dosent fit and almost every paper gasket and valve seat dont fit basicly paid for the seals dont recommend this item if you have the 25 kolher

I am not affiliated with this product in any way, just a small engine mechanic.1. Other reviews talk about this kit’s pan gasket not fitting on CH Series engines. All Kohler horizontal shaft engines use sealant instead of a gasket. If a gasket is installed it results in too much crankshaft end-play.2. I have used these gasket sets before with good luck, however, the last one I bought had inferior oil seals and oil pan gasket. The oil pan gasket does not have the bead of sealant on it like the OEM Kohler gasket.When I installed the oil pan, the crankshaft seal rolled up and deformed. I have installed hundreds of these seals and never had one to do this.From now on, I will spend the extra money and get the OEM gaskets and seals.
