Bought on Woot and I think it is outstanding! For our first time we did four pizzas increasing the complexity in each one. The key is having a quick method of getting pizzas into and out of the oven and possibly turning them to evenly bake them. I’m sure there are a lot of expert tips online. I didn’t use a pizza peel, but a long bladed spatula and a baking sheet with parchment paper for the transfers in.The oven got up to temperature and worked well even with outdoor temperatures just above freezing and windy.I had a little trouble getting the pellets to light with butane lighters as it was pretty windy, but once lit, no trouble keeping the fire going. I just filled the tray and not the hopper at first to see how long it would burn and get rid of any manufacturing residue, then filled the hopper for the bakes. I wanted to make sure the temperature was good and I burned for a total of 2 hours and refilled the hopper at least twice. The bakes were all done in no more than 2 minutes each. My guess is about an 45 minutes to an hour bake on a full tray and hopper. I got 30 minutes on the initial full tray and about 20 minutes after the hopper was empty after I stoked the fire to finish the burn. The stone temperature exceeded my non contact temperature gauge of 485 degrees. I may need one that’s higher to keep track of the oven environment, but even without that, we had success. The oven is as good as I need to get a quality bake. And not terrible to store. I’m ooking forward to a lot of use this year. My daughter bought one for herself after our use, but from Amazon at a slightly higher price, but still a good value.Still seeing what works as far as cooking goes. I used parchment paper cut down to size to slide the pies in, then used tongs to remove the paper when dough set up to continue the bake, which happens very fast, so be ready. Burned the crust just a little on the first one as the paper caught fire when I wasn’t prepared with the tongs fast enough. Next three all were fine and saw much promise of this for entertaining.Going to try 12 inch pizzas screens for the next time, so the prep and bake can happen more quickly and people can personally make their pizzas. I am quite pleased with this.Firebox flames are a nice distribution and the pellet and ash trays are easy to stoke if needed.

I bought this off of Woot and just got it today, 02/01/2025, It took about 5 minutes to put it together.I made a real simple pizza dough of 1 and 1/2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 cup of plain yogurt and tablespoon of some butter garlic salt, mixed together, divided into two parts. Rolled out to an approximate circle and parbaked on a cookie sheet at 350 for 15 minutes. At this point the pizza oven was hot, so I loaded up both crusts with sauce, vegetables , meat and cheese and headed outside with them. I used an aluminum pizza peeler, but, you could use a flat cookie sheet to slide into the oven, right on top of the included, square pizza stone. About a minute and a half later, I checked pizza and it was already done. Turned out fantastic. I highly recommend this Pizza oven as it was super simple to use and then to stow it away for the next use.

I've just started making home made pizzas the last few months and just recently decided to try my hand as cooking in an outdoor pizza oven. I love it. It's so cool being able to make flatbreads and pizzas like I get at local restaurants that have a pizza oven. Cooking with the pellets for fuel works well since it helps keep a steady temperature and the finished products is a pizza that's evenly cooked and has that touch of golden char to it for flavor. This oven works really well and has been so easy to set up and use. Every time I set this up and make flatbreads and pizzas for everyone, they're so impressed. No need to pay high prices at a restaurant when we can make them right on the back patio!
