These melodic switches fit standard 5-pin MX mechanical keyboards perfectly. They have a super satisfying click and feel, way better than blue switches in my opinion. The push travel is smooth, the actuation feels great, and there's hardly any wobble. I'm usually a brown switch fan, but these switches are top-notch.

As someone who typically favors thocky and creamy switches, I approached these Gateron Melodics with skepticism. Consider me pleasantly surprised! These switches manage to deliver a satisfying click without becoming the office nuisance that many clicky switches can be.The 60gf actuation force is notably higher than what I usually prefer, but it contributes to a precise typing experience. Each keystroke feels intentional, with a crisp, clean click that's more refined than your typical blue switch. The pre-lubed switches installed smoothly, and I particularly appreciated that the pins maintained their alignment - a common issue with budget switches that's thankfully absent here. While the price point initially gave me pause, the build quality justifies the investment. The stable stems and precise actuation point demonstrate attention to detail in the manufacturing process.Pros:Refined click sound that isn't overwhelmingSturdy construction with durable pinsSmooth installation processPre-lubed and ready to goConsistent actuation forceCons:Higher actuation force might fatigue some usersPremium price pointStill a clicky switch (if that's not your thing)If you're in the market for a clicky switch or shopping for someone who is, these Melodics are worth considering. They've shown me that not all clicky switches are created equal, and while they haven't completely converted me from my thocky preferences, they've certainly earned my respect.

Okay frankly, I'm not a big fan of clicky switches. I'm a tactile girl and love my thonk. Clicky has always been a mood I never found. These though, are really fun, I think these are the first clickies to make me like them, based on effort alone. The listing reads "melodic and crisp" this feels accurate. Especially the crisp part. The actuation force is about what I feel comfortable with, listing says 60gf, travel feels mid. Plays well with RGB. DB is highly likely to annoy your coworkers.I probably won't be building a full board out of these, still team thock. That said, if you're in the market for click, definitely check out sounds tests. Click and Thock has one with a very confusing Backspace experience that's worth hearing alone. For me, if ever I need click, I know where to find them.

Man, these are weird and great switches. I really should get more. I only got a sample of 36 (why do they do that? For my 36-key keyboard? Cmon!) so I was only able to populate a keypad with them but *yum*. They feel great. I'm a clickie addict, though I've been using tactiles and linears on gasket-mount keyboard and have been getting really appreciative of the feel. These are really - I've never felt a switch like them, to be honest. Somehow smooth and clicky at the same time. Supposedly they're very similar to the $1+ per switch Zeal Clickiez, which if true, is pretty amazing. Either way. lovely! Worth picking up.

I liked the feel and sound of this switch compared to the cheaper outemu and even cherry blues that I've tried in the past, but it very well could be recency bias. Regardless, I think they're a good option for clicky switches but they are still priced as high as their expensive linear options.

I am a tactile switch devotee, but there are some cases (smaller macro pads and specialty controllers) where I like to include some clicky switches for the benefit of clear audible and tactile feedback. As clicky switches go, these are very very nice ones. Rock solid construction, very nice tactile experience and good sound/acoustics. The price on these is pretty steep compared to a lot of the competition, so while I would certainly not consider these a budget option, the quality is there.

I actually love these as the only Clicky switches I would ever use. These have a VERY STRONG spring and the click is very, very sharp but not super loud. I love the strong tactile bump just as the click activates. If you are a Tactile and Click lover... you gotta try these! As always these are typical Gateron quality!
