Solidly made, and fit the pressure tank on my '04 Suburban perfectly. Regrettably have had to use it twice in the last month for two separate cooling system issues, but that makes it a good addition to the toolbox!

Does not fit any GM radiators. Thought it may have been held up by the oring so I removed it just to test fit the threads. Still won't thread on.Bought it several months ago just to have and should have tested it when I got it. Now it's going in the scrap metal bin. Save your money and just buy a quality tool kit.

Fit and worked perfectly with my snap on radiator pressure tester on my 06 Silverado.Ive used stant, snap on and other adapters. This is as good as any of those.Well made, great price for the quality

Got this for Mama's 01 Olds Intrigue with a threaded coolant reservoir cap. Looks to be a nicely machined/milled metal tool. You might want to use waterproof silicone/Teflon type lube on threads and rubber O-ring and make sure it's seated flat so not to cross threads on plastic coolant tank. Part was new in a Gates branded box as posted. And yes, it's a little fiddley to get started on threads so "Be Vigilant" or you might need a replacement reservoir! 😣

Threads are not machined correctly. Tried it on two different GM trucks.Disappointed, Gates usually means good quality.

Threads profile is incorrect thickness, why does't manufacture test on GM reservoirs as other also reported this issue. 2nd it was shipped in a thin cardboard box not taped - so it escaped into the Amazon prime bag where it got dented as a separate issue - could have lived with that but as it would simply not screw on had to return. Hope they improve the quality would like to buy again as it would be a good item i the threads were made properly. Since purchased CTA 7090 from Amazon USA via JB Tools and that one fits perfectly and works!

Quality professional product. The first one that was delivered was crossthreading on the expansion tank threads. Ordered an exact replacement and it work great.
