The Content Creator Series main desk by Gator Frameworks is a space-saving, ergonomic workstation ideal for podcasts, broadcasts, content creation, gaming, streaming, and music production in compact areas. Its double-level design provides plenty of room for the essentials. The upper platform measures 43”/1092mm in length x 14”/356mm in depth, delivering more than enough surface area for setting down a pair of small-to-large studio monitors and a flat display screen. The lower platform offers a total of 24.56”/624mm in depth, making it perfect for a small MIDI controller, keyboard or mixer. The GFW-DESK-MAIN features up to three (3) units of rack space to keep an audio interface, dynamic processor, preamp, or other outboard gear in close reach. A slide-out computer keyboard tray is attached beneath the lower platform to free up valuable room on the surface above. To further help preserve desktop space, dual threaded mic adapter posts are attached to the front of the desk for conveniently mounting a vocal microphone at face level, along with pre-bore holes on the lower surface for mounting Frameworks-brand desktop mic boom arm models. Leveling feet are also included for additional stability when placing the desk on uneven floor surfaces.

I edit videos and do a lot of audio recording. This desk has simplified my workflow and ultimately sped up my productivity.

Instructional setup video was unclear, not sure if I’ll even be able to use the keyboard slider because I followed the video to a tee and ended up chipping the wood. Inserted a picture for reference. The main foundation of the desk was thankfully easy to install, but Gator Frameworks failed to keep the simplicity consistent with the keyboard slider, which is the only reason I even chose to spend the extra money on this desk.Very disappointed that I paid an arm and a leg for an unnecessarily fancy setup that’s just gonna break when I follow the instructions. Until I get some help on that keyboard slider, my review will stay at one star.

Falls apart if you look at it wrong. Stay far away from Gator products.

This is a must have for the professional or home studio musician, producer, or engineer. I have been using Gator products for years, beginning with their gig bags and cases (you could drop them off a roof and your guitar will survive) and other accessories, and most recently their Creator Tree. What I love most about their Frameworks line of products is durability and practicability. This desktop can handle or hold up to 200 lbs. Second Tier: 100 pounds. Keyboard tray: 50 lbs. (350 pounds total and evenly distributed). This workstation is a battle station when you’ve got to roll up your sleeves and get down to business. This main desk, like their Creator Tree, is well thought out and is built to last. This is not a cheap computer desk and not intended for office use. The three tiers each allow ample studio workspace and gives the user plenty of desk space and elbow room and is designed to accommodate additional audio interfaces, MIDI controller, computers and the ability to rackmount. Corner and additional wrap-around additions can be added to this desk and are not included.ASSEMBLY & SET UPPlease note: A little bit of mechanical knowledge and prior furniture assembly is highly recommended for this desk. The hardware might seem confusing since the pieces or the bags they are packaged in are not labeled. I therefore recommend you take a marker like I show in the photos and mark the screws, bolts, and hardware in advance. Many of these pieces are extra, optional, or extraneous and not required to complete the set up. Also, one of the hardware parts was mislabeled CC in the instructions when it should have been CA (There was not a CC hardware part). It is going to take you about an hour to finish the job. Also, another helpful hint: be sure to remove the sliding desktop keyboard tray off the tracks (Step #9 & #10) after assembling to properly screw the metal track to the sides. The tracks come apart by pushing up the white plastic piece on the inside of the track (see photo). Trust me… you’ll save yourself a big headache.I am absolutely impressed with this studio desk, and this item was exactly what I was looking for for my home studio and professional mixing, mastering, and producing needs. Cleans up beautifully with Pledge furniture polish.Added Bonus: If you live in California, this desk is strong and heavy, and could be a potential lifesaver in a duck and cover earthquake situation while you’re busy at work.

Assembling this desk is a nightmare. It was so insanely bad I am writing this review moments after finishing. Instructions have mislabeled parts (see pictures). There are screws labeled "CA" and "CB", but the instructions routinely mention a "CC" screw which is not included. Instructions do not inform you that the keyboard drawer hinge can be removed which makes installing said drawer much easier. I had to find a video (which is not mentioned at ALL in the instructions) to see how it was removed. Several real tight screw placements took forever to screw in due to limited mobility. The instruction sequencing didn't make sense. Why would I install the rack after I installed the main desk, which blocks my ability to do so? You really can just sell anythingNo comments on the utility of the desk as I have not used it much yet

I got this for my son for his room, which is strong and sturdy. It doesn't take up a ton of space, yet there is plenty of room to work. His little brother climbs on it and it doesn't even wobble.

We ordered the “main desk” for our teenage son who has taken an interest in gaming and streaming. We also ordered the Content creator tree by gator to use in conjunction with this unit and both work well together. The desk itself is very sturdy and has a good amount of weight to it, something to keep in mind when ordering-Assembly took about an hour in total, and instructions were easy to follow and well thought out.We plan to also order the corner piece in the near future to complete his set up, it’s truly perfect for any gamer/content creator!
