The plastic stopper on the the tip came off and lodged inside my trumpet bell. I couldn't play for days until I figured out how to get it out. I had to use a long motorcycle screwdriver and coax it out with valve oil. It was lodged really solidly in the bell. I was practically in tears. It's already mounted to my wall, so I've replaced the cheap plastic stopper with cloth secured by a rubber band. Really disappointed at the cheap materials and poor design used for this product.

Seems to be a solid product, but…I ordered two of these to get my horns more safely on the wall and off the floor stands in my music room. I already have my alto on a wall mount (different manufacturer) and love how it keeps the horn out of the way and safely out of harms way. I thought I'd do the same with my two tenor saxophones, one modern (Yanigasawa), one vintage (Buescher). The mounts seem well made, sturdy and were easy to mount on the wall. The problem is that no matter the adjustment (there are four), the bottom cradle would hit the keys guards, on all fours horns (I even tried the alto). Seems the cradle is just too long, too pronounced and curved to accommodate (my) saxes without the key guards hitting. I suppose it’s possible one of the adjustment points might work for different horns with different key guard set ups, but didnt work for my 4 different horns. Oh. The one I opened came with some of the finish/paint already peeled off. Wouldn't be deal breaker for me, but maybe for some.
