I had a horrific moment a couple of months ago. I was back from work and unloading the trunk of the car with some groceries I had bought on the way home. The kids ran out to meet me.I play on a 1927 silver Conn alto, with a gold washed bell. I used to play on Selmer horns, but they are incredibly expensive, and I still say that NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, sounds like a Conn.I unloaded the trunk, one of kids fell hard on the driveway while running, the other one started screaming for mommy (even though I was right there.... typical...) and things quickly went nuts. I grabbed my stuff (thought) and ran inside with a screaming kid and another yelling "mommy!" and went to work disinfecting the scrape. It was a fun way to return home.An hour later my wife says: "honey, please go down to the store and get..." I forget what. It was now dark.I got to the car, turned it on, and began to back up. I heard an awful sound. I stopped the car without going too far.There was my alto case (horn inside), broken. Thank GOD the horn was entirely unharmed. All I did was nudge the case with the car. But the case was SHOT.I had an SKB case that looked at lot like this one for my tenor years ago, so I found this one online and purchased it. I am really glad I did.It is a sturdy, well made, hard case. The inside is universal enough that it fit my old 1927 Conn saxophone perfectly, with the end cap on. (I had to get an end cap specially made for the tenor so it could fit the SKB case)No room for much in here save your horn, your neck, your mouthpiece. Your neck strap and small reed case will have to go into the bell. I have bag for this purpose.I have a hard and fast rule: do NOT buy gig bags and soft cases. Good thing. If I didn't follow that rule, my horn would now be flattened and I would be looking for a new one. This case does everything I need it too.I do not know where this case was made. This company is US based, and manufactures here and in China. They are building a new plastic molding factory down south, and they seem committed to US manufacturing. I wish they would simply close up shop in China and do the right thing and make these cases here, but at least I know I did not purchase this from a company that is entirely off shore, and does no U.S. manufacturing.This is a solid case, and it meets my needs well.

As noted, this seems to be a sturdy case for my son's attempt at band.We found a great sale on a used trombone, but without a case.You gotta have a case.This product seems much better than the one I had in Middle School.I guess that I'm spoiling the kid...AND protecting the investment.SO, the PROs thus far:--Sturdy latches that close tightly--Plush velvet interior that cushions well--Several latching pockets for the mouth piece and accessories.--Convenient carring strap--Ability to stand the case up on rubber support pegsCon: So far, it looks like the hinges for the carrying strap MIGHT not hold up to a lot of use. ---I will update if they wear out quickly or not

I recently had my 48 year old Besson trombone completely refurbished and needed a new case to put it in. This case really does the job. It's well built, light, and holds the instrument securely. While it is only big enough to hold a standard small bore trombone, it really serves nicely. Plus, it comes with a removable strap so it can be carried over the shoulder which I find helpful. If there is one thing it lacks, it doesn't have a lot of storage space. There are two small compartments, one of which is just big enough to hold my slide cream, spray bottle and lubricant. The other compartment is just deep enough to hold the mouthpiece. Still a quality case, and at a decent price.

I've only had it a few days, but it seems like a nice case for the money. Very sturdy, I would not worry about the instrument being crushed. Has feet on the "back" side, which is a nice feature that I've seldom seen in cases. The instrument fits kind of tight, especially the mouthpiece. It's also rather heavy - not heavy enough to use the shoulder strap, but a bit heavy nonetheless. There's also not a ton of storage space, but enough to hold my reeds, grease, swab, and extra barrel. But protection is the main thing, and so I think it will work out fine.

It’s a given that you’re going to store things in the bell. If you’re okay with that, then this is a great case. The lid opens a full 180 degrees, and I don’t like that. If it stopped at 90 degrees, it might be easier to navigate, but I also think that’s personal preference. It protects my sax. (Yanagisawa 880.)

This case is very well made. It has a nice strap for carrying over the shoulder should one not want to use the handle. One thing I liked is that you can distinguish the top from the bottom. Many cases don't have this feature and the clarinet falls out when you open it if the bottom is on top. There is a key for locking the case if need be. I am very impressed with this case, and think that anyone who buys one will agree with me. Great clarinet case at a great price.

I am a musician with a touring band and we use gator cases for our instruments and my trumpet. First, I love that they are so lightweight! I have to carry my horn a long distance and this case makes it very easy!They are also extremely durable...We took them on the Vans Warped Tour this summer and they protected our instruments through a great deal of torment, like having heavy gear fall on them in the trailer, being dropped, and being continually exposed to severe weather conditions (extreme heat, flooding, etc). They are inexpensive, readily available, and cheap to ship. They are generally more compact than other cases, making them easier to check onto airplanes and pack into vehicles.I highly recommend!

This is a great case for any saxes with an oversized bell. I use it for my Buescher 400 alto and it just fits! There is also a place for your neck and mouthpiece which is great! You can also lock this case and it comes with a decent shoulder strap! I haven't tried putting a Yamaha or selmer horn in it but I'm sure it would be O.K. It is MORE durable than the Protec cases and this case WILL protect your horn! It is quite similar to the SKB cases but less expensive!AM

No se puede encontrar un estuche rÃgido más barato en el mercado, y además cumple perfectamente su cometido. Es fuerte, con perfiles de cierre de aluminio, sin cremalleras... Protege el tenor perfectamente aunque sea un poco pesado.

Op 28 september besteld. Pas op 3 oktober verzonden. Zou 7 oktober bezorgd worden. Toen opeens uitgesteld. En op 11 oktober de melding dat het bezorgd is. Dit terwijl DHL hier altijd s'avonds komt. Ook op de camera niets waar te nemen van een bezorging. En wat zegt klantenservice Amazone: Wachten tot 13 oktober. Meest slechte ervaring bij Amazone tot nu toe. Overigens is de koffer wel top. Heb er al 1 voor de tenor.

Sicuramente robusta, bella esteticamente e con un certo livello di finiture. Il problema principale è che il peso supera i 3 kg, ed è da tener presente. Le misure interne sono abbastanza "giuste" per un violino classico 4/4 da 35,5 cm . Ma se avete uno strumento con misure un pò diverse, meglio chiedere informazioni prima di ordinarla. La vedo bene quando si fanno trasferte in auto o bus , e serve una certa robustezza per riporla in un bagagliaio, la sconsiglierei per portarsela dietro a piedi in città o treno.
