Bought this for our 10-year-old son to replace the nearly 40-year-old case for the sax he had inherited. Compared to the typical hard case that school instruments seem to come with, this has everything. It's much more lightweight, yet offers the same protection as a hard case as best as I can tell. It has a rigid shell inside the fabric exterior, and the softness of the outside seems like it will make bumping incidents more forgiving. I must have dented so many walls with my hard case when I was a kid.It still has the typical interior corner compartment for accessories like reeds, cleaning stuff, etc., but it also has an exterior pocket for flat items (such as sheet music, if you fold it. Sadly, not big enough for full sized book though).The killer feature(s) is the shoulder strap and back pack straps. If your kid is going to school, they are going to carry this thing along with other stuff. These options mean this case can be carried hands-free, which allows them to handle other stuff as needed.Another thing I wish it had, is a name tag holder pouch. There wasn't really a great place to tag it, I ended up making something that I could zip tie to one of the handles but would prefer something more low profile.The price was fair. I am cheap when it comes to cases, and was initially hoping to find something for $40-$50. But after buying this a bit begrudgingly, I have to admit this thing is worth the money, no question.In all, I'd give this thing 4.5 stars, but I rounded up for the Amazon review scale, which only handles integers. If there is a better soft case option for alto saxophone out there, I couldn't find it.

I debated about investing in this case as there were mixed reviews. But now I'm glad I did! My grandson has an easier time carrying his trumpet along with his bookbag. He's in middle school & they aren't letting them have lockers until the 8th grade. 😲🤯 He says it is much easier for him to carry both now.

Was a Christmas gift and my son absolutely loved it!!! The back pack feature and comfort fit is what he was gloating about.

The case fit the flute well without any issues. The outer pocket is big enough to hold some cleaning supplies. This is so much nicer than some of the cheap cases that are so small, minimal size.

I bought this tenor saxophone case mainly because of the price, it wasn't much for a rectangular case with extra storage space. When it arrived I was a little disappointed by how fragile it looks, I understand that sometimes we look for light items but I personally believe in the old school, "if it weighs a lot it's good and will last", the straps look fragile and finally I noticed that my Conn 16M tenor saxophone does not fit, there is an opening of almost 3 inches, it almost looks like a case for an alto saxophone.

Cannot say enough about this case!It has straps to wear as a backpack or to carry on one shoulder. The interior holds the trumpet well and seems to be holding up well.The exterior is fabric but VERY DURABLE. My child has been using this case for 6 months and it still looks brand new. The zippers and closures work well.My only complaint is I wish it had a spot for a mute inside the case and that the exterior pocket was large enough to hold sheet music. We use the pocket, the music folder just sticks out a little (see photo).Overall very pleased with the quality for the price.
