Wonderful little machine . . . I have a need for a laminator that can handle moderate use and this machine does the trick.The Swingline GBC Fusion 3100L replaces my old GBC H525 which was an absolute behemoth to store and use. The 3100 is light, easier to store and it works just as well as the H525.The machine is light and it is made of plastic. If you are in an environment where ultra-durability is needed, you might be disappointed. If you work in an normal office environment with responsible adults you will be fine.The machine warms up fast, the buttons make it very simple to set up and it runs the pages through quickly.Very pleased with the machine . . . for the Amazon.com price it can't be beat!

Alas, the smell. 😱 Well, it goes away...three days later! 😅 Anyway, the GBC Laminator, for the price 💰💰, didn't disappoint. It even arrived on time ⌚ï¸, albeit not in a box 📦.The laminator has performed well and not âš°ï¸ðŸ’£ after first use, like other brands I've read about. Full disclosure: I've only used it once. I only needed one sign laminated and this unit came with a BUNCH of pouches ( 25 or 30, I think). Which was cool 😎. (I made the mistake of buying a useless pack *single sided* sheets, I have no idea HOW those were supposed to work!) Anyway, this looks sexy 🦊 and works fairly quickly 🖨🗜🕑, if you go slow as it says in the manual. Or rather let **the machine** pull the item through, and YOU don't push or pull. I did t right, and my sign came out nice ðŸ‘ðŸ¿! One reviewer mntioned bending, hm? Not an issue for me on my initial use. The manual pictures are wierd, but it works, and that's all that matters 🆗! I couldn't be happier with this laminator! I have a lot of board games and card games that I'm laminating the components of and this unit is extremely well made. In the short time I've owned it I've really put it through the ringer and it is doing an incredible job. I've done about 300 laminating jobs so far and I can't detect any issues with air bubbles or anything. I send a cleaning sheet through the machine about every 20 jobs just to help keep it clean. I've ended up laminating everything but the wife, dog, and cat. Once I get done with the job of the board and card game components, I'm going to work on a storage solution for them, the dvd collection, and our comic book collection. I intend on creating dividers for all of these and laminating the dividers to help keep everything in order. This version only has the 3 mil and 5 mil, but that works perfect for me. I prefer the 5 mil because it's a little studier, but that all depends on the pouches that you buy.

We purchased this laminator for our small office approximately 10 months ago. We've used it only a handful of times, laminating fewer than 20 sheets of 3mm paper. It worked perfectly the first few uses, but around the 5th use it started curling the outer edges of the pages. Around the 10th use, it jammed up for the first time. I was able to get the paper out of the laminator successfully, and although it continued to curl the upper outer edge, that wasn't a big deal to me since we primarily used the laminator to make door signs for our business. On the 18th paper, it has jammed again. I can't get the paper out and the machine is no longer returnable through Amazon, so we have to go through the manufacturer because it's just under the one-year warranty. If you purchase this product, I highly suggest getting the extended warranty - you'll need it.Update 11/04/21: Received a new laminator six weeks after contacting customer service. On the third time it was used, the replacement laminator also started curling the edges of every page. On the fourth time, it jammed irreparably. If I could give zero stars, I would.

My previous laminators had all died and I was looking around for a new one that would handle doing quite a few sheets in one session without saying "no more, I can't take any more!". I really love how quickly this one heats up and it handles the thicker pouches that I like to use when laminating cardstock (65-80#) paper. I've processed 20+ sheets in one session and I've never had a problem with any of the pouches not holding together as the laminator wasn't hot enough.

After going through 3 different laminators that couldn't handle the amount of work we put them through, we decided to spend more to get a tougher machine. We followed the advise of HQ, we bought this laminator. I couldn't be happier. The speed and quality of lamination.

I ordered this laminator for the office and it gets used quite often. We are about 2 months in now since it's first use and it's working great. This was actually a replacement Swingline laminator but different model that broke down after 2 years of steady use. So far, I have no complaints and I haven't heard of anyone in the office having an issue. It's easy to use and even easier to setup, it's pretty much dummy proof. The price is a bit high, but most laminators are for better quality.

I had a GBC laminator for about 10 years and it was great so I wanted to go with the same brand when it finally quit working. This one is even better! I like that it doesn't easily grab the side and crinkle up the laminate - it keeps it straight and smooth. You can set it for 3mil and 5 mil sheets, and it heats up fast. Would definitely recommend.

Lamina o enmica perfectamente, estoy contenta con el resultado que deja. Desconozco porque tiene en la parte superior una marca como si fuera usado y no totalmente nuevo.
