I used these U-bolts to mount an antenna to our 2.375" diameter weatherhead conduit that rises above our roofline. After welding 2 of these U-Bolts to a piece of frame channel, I attached the U-Bolts to the conduit and then attached the 6' antenna mast to the frame channel. Perfect!These U-Bolts are well plated and should not develop rust anytime soon - important for me since I live in a coastal area. All of the cross-ties and matching nuts (and a couple of extras!) were included in the hardware bag.These U-Bolts also fit regular 2.375" fence posts just fine.Multiple uses for this wonderful hardware, here at my house anyway! These are a very good value for the quantity and the price point and saved me a 32 mile drive to the nearest hardware store - I live in a remote location.Do I recommend these U-bolts? You bet! These aren't the heavy-duty kind you use for clamping on a muffler, get those at the auto shop. These are for fence and antenna mounting/general duty use.
