This strap is heavy duty. I used it to add a second support to the holding tanks in my 5th wheel. The ones the factory installed were crap. This is thick enough that i know it will carry the load and thin enough to work with on and around crossmembers. I have a lot left over but wont throw it away, its good stuff.

Was of good quality and I would think it would be code compliant for a tie down roof strap on most locations.

These straps were just what we needed for our addition project. One roll was enough length and very affordable compared to other methods to secure a deck to a foundation. We cut four strips which were set in concrete footings and cinderblock piers then wrapped and fastened around the rim joists. Our addition is complete and these straps passed local code for foundational requirements. We will definitely keep this product in mind for any future addition projects.

Solid metal strapping that gives me a good sense of security wherever I use it. Remember to use as many screws or nails to secure this as possible to get the most strength out of the strap! I can cut these with metal shears.
