This is my fifth pair of gdefy that I've purchased.Pros: exceptional comfort, only shoes that help relieve discomfort from standing on concrete all day. My arches are falling and these help tremendously with pain.I have wide feet, these have never made them feel compressed, tight and never caused blisters. Plenty of toe box space. If there is too much space, they come with another set of insoles to adjust for that.No break in period, comfort right out of the box.Not completely hideous like some orthopedic shoes. These came with an extra pair of laces.Enough ventilation that your feet don't sweat wearing them through the day, but not so much that they freeze during winter. Year round comfort. These also come with another set of insoles for pronation. Wish they had insoles for suppination, but i have my own adjusters i add to mine.Cons: these typically only last me about a year, as i tend to live in them and abuse them. For someone who isn't hard on their shoes, they'll last longer.Price is higher than I'd like, but well worth it for the relief and comfort. They're still less money than some of their competitors shoes. I actually much prefer gdefy over hoka.

I’m using this great pair of shoes for work since I’m standing, walking and sitting so by moving so much around it’s very useful and the bottom of my feet and heal don’t feel hurt or in pain after eight hours of work.

Was pretty dead set on these based on the positive reviews & desperate for pain relief. Overall I’d say I’m pretty disappointed. They feel pretty great and do seem to help in alleviating foot pain. What I didn’t care for was this style in particular seems to run wide. There’s almost too much room in the tow box & I have to keep them drawn fairly tight. They aren’t comfortable around the ankle until they’re more broken in so my typical no-show socks were not a good combination. It’s advertised that you get these alternative insoles as well. I started out with the “corrective†pair and while I found them to coincide with comfort, as far as activity they were too “slippery†for my feet. I’m assuming it’s just the top material they're comprised of but I found it enough of a nuisance to switch them out for a basic OTC insert that I’ve liked in the past. Overall, I’ve had these for 6 weeks & they’re falling apart. I’m my opinion they cost way too much to be doing that. I’ll continue wearing them because they DO seem to help with foot pain but the fact that I’m supergluing my $135 shoes is unsat. As far as customer service directly with the company they’re extremely lacking. I had an experience in which I bought another style (prior to these falling apart) and had to exchange for a different size. Their website wouldn’t work or load correctly to file the “claim†online so I sent an email to their generic mailbox given along with filling out & returning the exchange form. About a week after they were received back I finally called asking for a status. I was told that my email was confusing & they didn’t understand what I needed to exchange for (it was clearly indicated on the returned form as I’m capable of following basic instructions) but also didn’t reach out to contact me in any way. I was told that to make up for it they’d send out my replacement as a “rush†and I should have it in 3-5 business days. Asked for an email confirmation of such & never received anything. Called again another 8 days later asking what’s going on & was told the replacement order got “hung up†somewhere & again, to make up for it, I’d have them sent as a high priority rush & would receive in 3 business days. Again, also asked for an email confirming as such but received some type of nonsense that seemed to be for internal use only. After these 3 business days I’ve finally received an acknowledgment of receiving my original pair (they’ve had them for almost a month) in addition to “here’s tracking information for your replacementâ€. It took those 3 days for them to even be shipped when they should have been received. I did actually get tracking information this time, and they’re set to arrive in another 5 days.My initial review would have been around 4-4.5 stars based solely on the product. Now that they’re falling apart after such a short amount of time I’d drop to 3.5-4, again they do feel good to wear. After the experience with their “always pleasant customer service†I can’t go any higher than 3 tops.I’d recommend shopping around for someone that delivers an all around good experience with customer service from the very beginning as well as a good quality product that lasts. When it comes to “good†footwear when you have problematic feet, it’s a given you’re making an investment & can’t get away with anything “cheapâ€. I just would have hoped that for $135 these would have lasted at least 6 months or so before falling apart.Hope my honest opinion helps in your purchase decision.

The sneaker delivers on the floaty sensation that it posts about. There are removable and insertable orthotics that came with my particular package. I unfortunately possess a very high arch so the extra support left me with no room in the shoe. The first day I took it out. It didn’t feel too great. It was a bit stiff, and I thought somewhat hard. They are higher ups if you feel like you have platforms on. I know a lot of people are used to that these days because their sneakers are stacked pretty high in the tread and I understand that and I find it very helpful when you have knee and back issues. The second time I wore them we did a 2 1/2 mile walk and it was very Comfortable. However, I was walking my dog and she tends to pull and she ran after squirrel and I lost my footing in the shoes because they are a little bit top-heavy if you will and we ended up in the bushes. But it was a soft fall. Balancing is the key with these. I would definitely use them when you’re just walking yourself or you have phenomenal coordination and balance. The jury still out. It has a very roomy toe box. which makes it very suitable with people that have toe and other foot issues you could wear a padded sock in this pretty easily. They are attractive for the type of shoe they are. I am saving them to walk in. I found the gripped very well especially on wet surfaces. And since it rains a great deal where I live, it was very appreciated to have a gripping when I buy them again I don’t know I think if they were on sale, I probably would. How do they compare to other brands in a class by themselves. Happy walking ! 🚶â€â™€ï¸
