I prefer these tape measures to other varieties because they are flexible and don't tear/crack. Also since they are cheap, you can buy a bunch so you can always find one when you need it.

Work just fine, feel pretty good. Great for measuring, only thing is the printed measurements smear a bit if you rub on them with your fingers too hard, other than that they're really useful!

Once upon a time, I had a tape measure. A, as in one. I kept it on the peg board behind my workbench. Well, most of the time. Then, one sad day, I needed that tape measure and I couldn't find it. I searched high and low, far and wide, upstairs and downstairs, but it was nowhere to be found. As is so often true, it seemed like the best way to find it was to buy another. Or four more. So, I came here and had a little discussion with Mr. Amazon. And he sent me four tape measures in as many colors. They arrived rapidly. Their colors lightened up my life. I found a place for each of them, one high, one low, one hither and one yon. Now, there is a tape measure wherever I need it. And, you knew this was coming, two weeks later the original lost tape measure came out of hiding. Now, I have five. And, perhaps, we shall all live happily ever after.

Ok, hear me out. I had one of these for some sewing things I was doing and I left it on the ground. My cat found it and carried it around with him for the rest of the day, playing with it and just kinda holding it, he loves it. So I thought instead of buying him some expensive cat toys i'd buy him some more measuring tapes! They're basiclly his favorite toy and i'm so glad i bought them. I've even used them for other things as well. Definetly Recommend!
