This handle worked as an exact replacement for my fridge. You cannot tell the difference between this handle and the originally installed handle. Very easy to install if you have the right size Allen wrench.

These handle mounts are a known issue, yet GE won't sell just the mounts. You have to buy a whole handle assembly for a lot more money. New handle felt a lot lighter than the original, so I had to transfer the broken mount to the old handle just to make the repair. I mean, it works, but it should be like $5 tops for each mount, and not a whole handle assembly for a lot more money.

Replaced original find. It's just way too costly. GE should be ashamed for not making these sturdier or fixable.
